Vr will not be a big hit; it'll be better than 3d TV but putting something on your head every time you play a game is not appealing to the masses.
But in the end most people can not tell the difference unless they are told. Resolution 960p vs. 1080p can not really be seen at 10 feet and on larger TV's. Look it up and you will see that this is true. On pc it makes a difference because they sit closer to the screen same with living in Japan because they have small apartments some as small as 120 sq. feet.

Yes it dose it had to use a camera for motion tracking to be better. That's were the Kinect will be a plus because everyone has one not 20% percent like the ps4 which by all standards is freaking great.
also Ps4 will either have to bundle a camera that will raise the price where X1 can just sell the Vr cheaper because everyone has a camera.

That's what Ms and The X1 and ps4 is designed for and what separate's them from Nintendo. They are building for compute gaming in 5 to 10 years.
I think this will be a case by case basis. If you a hot game like time force they would make an exception but most indies games are not that great and coming out on a another platform before x1 is not worth it to them.

Plus I don't think either console will have good effects for gamming its like 3d movies on 60hz. TV. You need 1080p times two I think or everything will look fuzzy. just like they are saying about Sony's VR when you move your head.

"Sony has better exclusives by a long way" not a fact better is subjective to individuals preference. But Sony has a lot of great games. They are loosing a lot of people in their studios that also made those games great.
