To get to the hollow deck there has to be a advance in technology. If you look at Vr tech you will see it dose not work as good without a camera. Sony's Vr tech will cost because to get it right they will have to add a camera; Oculus Rift has shown this.

I think you Ps4 gamers don't get it.Everything you do on a console is noted every time you hit a button they know it. They know how many kills you get and where in a game it was done,every thing is tracked just about. Ms came out about 4 or years ago I think and stated that 60% of the time people were watching streaming video. These are the numbers the they used to build the X1.

As for the Kinect if it is used if unique ways it could be cool. It can read you heart beat there are many ways the it could add functions to a game rather that just motions and speech and with it being in every box this could happen.
I don't have a problem with that but it would be nice if single player or multiplayer only games would come out 40$.
They had their own first person shooter and did not want competition. Especially in the launch window and Respawn probably did not want to delay.

You are right the Ps4 is more straight forward. That's why the games look great now. If look at how the X1 is built you can tell it was built to be connected all the time. If everything Ms says is possible in 2015 with DX12 and cloud compute then we might see a shift in how the X1 really plays games.

"Always-on" was the one thing that made want a X1. if everyone is online that is cool. A connected people all gamming and if you cant afford that thats is a you problem. Drm is coming to every game console that's just a fact developers hate used games and Game stop.
You should hate Sony they are the ones who have lied from The start not Ms. Power and TV are not a problem and they lots of games to play on X1. Sony will be spoon feeding you Drm gaming and TV shows without any up dates that really improve their system.
So in the end I am still happy that Ps4 is doing great and will someday have a lot of games that rock,and if everything comes together for Dx12 and cloud compute works out we all will have a lot of fun.

This is a mobile country. They spend a lot of time on trains and buses. That's why most of their great games are on 3ds and vita. the big three (two) will probably only spike during holidays and great games launches.
