SHOW ME SOMETHING 2014!!!! (not 2015)
I'm kinda over E3 - for years I've gotten myself hyped for the show. And each year I'm usual let down.
I'm sick of seeing more on delayed games that won't release the same year.
Each year at E3, most of what is shown is usually not releasing that same year -- and the best of the show is usually 2-3 years off from being finished.
And don't get me started on the misrepresentation of these blockbusters (looking at you Ubi...
I've been wondering - what if this is the decrease in reserve for Kinect - what'll happen to those of the players who go to use their Kinect while their using the additional resources in their resource-demanding game??
Will the game drop in quality? Or will the X1 simply say Kinect is unavailable at this moment?
IDK - those 'next gen' graphics look straight out of a PS3 game. :P
With the amount of delays we've been seeing, one might be lead to believe there's another GTA release slated for 2014.
I don't know about anyone else, but I paid for my copy of Watch_Dogs, CE in fact, so I feel entitled to complain about what aspects I don't feel where up to my expectations.
Hopefully the way you described in your reply will be how Forza Horizon 2 is handled.
There definitely is a stark comparison to be made.
I can empathize with those PC guys now.
Luckily the install base for nextgen will eventually consumer all of the lastgen percentage.
We need some sort of nextgen vigilante who'll hack all lastgen consoles out of operation!

If Watch_Dogs is anything to go by, these major companies are aiming for platform-parity with their cross-gen releases.
I was 'pleasantly surprised' by the PS360 version of Watch_Dogs - and I hate that!!
I'm starting to sympathize with those PC elitist who bemoaned the last gen platforms for holding 3rd party AAAs back!

That's silly, imo.
I'm surprised in all this HDD talk, no one has mentioned how the PS4 only has 2 USB port, both at the front making for unavoidable view of cords/HDD. While the X1 conveniently has 2 in the back, 1 on the side.

I'd may have agreed with you, that plugging in is far less worrisome than internal altercations, had the PS4 swap not been as easy as it was. The unit was literally desgin for you to access the HDD location with as little worry as possible.
It's basically as simple as accessing a HDD on the Xbox 360 Slim - minus the sleek black plastic HDD encasing.

I like internal over external because of aesthetics.
Also, @No_Limit, notice how I said "first thing I did" so I wasn't bother with all that you mentioned.
I'm the type of person who would "hiding" the external being the console, to ensure it's out of sight.. I'm also the type of person to theoretically believes actual HDD connection should (at least theorect...
Most of my friends refused to jump over to PS4 like I have, the ones who have are the ones who care the most (ie bang for buck), the rest figure PS fans are simply louder and X1 games will eventually outpace PS4.
Um, PS4 has supported HDD upgrading since Day1.
It's internally upgradable, and they made swapping them incredibly easy - so much better than external IMO.
One of the first things I did with my PS4 was put in a 1TB Solid State Hybrid Drive, which has similarly been shown to provide faster boot-up and launching/loading times.
Cause if Watch_Dogs has showed us anything g, these companies prioritize parity cross-gen

I'm in Canada, and registered back in Feb, with a US zip code (used Redmond WA, hehe)
And I just recently got my PS3 & PS4 codes.
Only the PS4 code worked and the Beta Now application won't open --- most likely due to my region
I wanna see 2014 games... Everything is 2015 :(
