I'm very interested in this game, but can someone clarify one thing for me:
when they said Bloodborne is spiritual successor to Demon Souls.. wasn't that exact same thing said regarding Dark Souls?
IIRC -- edit: after a quick google, that is literally the first sentence on the Dark Souls wiki page.
Not working for me :( (in Canada)
I click the invite, enter my BDay, then redirects me to yahoo search...
// devs listened to our feedback, but should we care? //
um, yes !?!
Not if they're going for immersion by gender
Some of us are investing in Master Chiefs story arc. (and love it)
So, yeah, they kinda have us.
Plus, I have since switched to getting all my multiplats on Playstation (since NG launch) and I'm really looking forward to a something that'll have me boot up my ol' X1.
Halo 4 not 60fps?
I was probably 11yo when I got my OG Xbox + Halo for Christmas 2001(?)
I can still remember playing through mission 2, and driving the Warthog for the first time.
All my Uncles, and Cousins would come in and be like "holy crap! what is this!!"
How can he be mad?
With the relationship Bungie and Microsoft had previously, they would've had first dibs.
My bet is that after the split, Microsoft either chose not to make them an offer on Destiny, or gave them a terrible one.
The ball was in their court.
*jaw drop*
I suppose I'll go ahead and speak on behalf of those who prefer M-rated.
I was one of the few who disliked the Dark Souls rating change from Mature to Teen.
Not only did I think it wasn't a fit for the franchise, I also strongly dislike the fact it seemed to be done strictly out of business, to market towards a wider audience.
It's not going to change my mind on whether I'm getting the game, but I do prefer M-rated games.
With Teen ratings, the developers must limit their usage of "intense violence, blood and gore, sexual content and/or strong language."
As Logan said above me, "rating definitely does not determine quality" -- but assuming the quality is equal, I'll choose a M-rated version over a T-rated version. (again, assuming quality is equal)
I agree LBP is AAA in my mind.
But Call of Duty NOT AAA? WTF??!!!!!!!
Good link!! ++
It's funny that you make that comparison, cause there is a very alarming similarity.
I recently watched a YT video where this guy (the cell phone bomber guy) would go into fastfood joints and ask for their signature burger, then complain that it "doesn't look like the one on their website" -- and would have them remake it. Surprisingly most of the establishments accommodated the guy, and made a shockingly better looking burger (in *some* cases)!
Wow, you must reaaally love re-hashed content?
For a game based around acquiring new superpowers, I think Sucker Punch is straight-out-of-their-minds deciding to explore the backstory of a person WE ALREADY GOT THE POWER OF in the main game!!!!!
Like seriously, did they think all the people who beat inFamous SS are going to come running to pay an extra $14.99 to use more Neon power?
So basically, Sucker Punch will re-hash stuff from Second Son into Standalone-DLC, provided "people like it."
I'm not sure that's true.
two agrees? really?
As a decade old [former] Xbot, I can attest to games looking better on PS4.
The games I've personally compared on both systems are only AC:IVBF, BF4, and COD:G.
I found the differences noticeable, enough to change my console of choice.
Admittedly, I'm a sucker for more blades of grass
