Ummm did you miss the part in the title that says "Bungie says"??

We've known for a couole months now that the max level can be reached "in a couple of hours" http://www.nowgamer.com/new...

Well - see - the "profit" for Facebook was the millions upon millions that they spent on the acquisition as opposed to paying millions upon million in taxes on all their revenue.

The acquisition was profitable merely because OR was revenue negative.
It kept their books balanced, and kept the gov't from taking tons of their extra revenue.
In fact, this being part of the reason they wanted means they are inversely motivated to make OR revenue pos...

I have a really bad feeling that Destiny is going to disappoint me.

And Bungie never has - for me personally - so I don't know why.

I think Watch_Dogs has just left me incredibly skeptical of new IPs, regardless of how good they look when being shown.

At least I've played the beta and know the gameplay itself is no way a letdown -- now it comes down to depth, customization, and longevitiy.

I'm still super pissed that there are no mansions in the Vinewood Hills!

As was mentioned by IGN's reviewer Keza McDonald, back in October - seen here https://www.youtube.com/wat... @ 1:47

I definitely differ in view towards vehicles.

I don't play BF for vehicles tho, I play to endure them. I like the chaos of bigger threats chasing me.

If I get killed by infantry I feel robbed (not always) but I usually think about the reaction time or accuracy that could've made be the victor. And sometimes I should've got the kill.

When I get picked off by a tank, jet, or sniper miles away - I tend to hold zero grievance. Caus...

Ironically to me I don't have interest because they are trying to not be generic. They're trying to innovate, with the cop vs robber theme.

But I don't like it. I just want plain ol' Battlefield, with massive maps, and lots of vehicles.

Not some game modes that are going to corral me along objective by objective. (I'm a conquest guy over rush, usually)

You are right though, we have far too many shooters.

I buy Battlefield to play Battlefield - not cops & robbers.

If I was into that I'd be playing PayDay2.

Now that it's marginally playable, I think I'll be sticking to BF4 until the franchise returns to large-scale warfare.

You can say what you will about Hardline, but it isn't going to deliver on the massive scale battle that BF is known for.

I don't like that DICE keeps trying to compete with COD in the CQC/fast-paced action.

That the game is big budget? or is no where near $500mil?

4370d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Well, provided the franchise is still popular in 10years, I think far more than 50million will be needed in the final years. (provided increasing popularity)

but, regardless - GTA V was what $280~ million?

The first Destiny release won't come near that, if i'm correct.

I believe Sim City taught us all that

I don't 'kill' my sims for no reason, I kill them to progress my generations of family.

I kill sims to progress my "story."

It's part of the role-play.

I like having a single sim, then he gets married, and he has a bunch of kids, one of which is usually me, then I focus on him, and his family, and his kids.
Sometimes in order to move along the game an 'accident' must occur to one of the family member...

Geez, you're a numb skull.

If you're 1st comment didn't prove as much, your 2nd and 3rd ones sure did.

I could *maybe* get around $4.99 for 12hours.

Then it's at least $5/day.

Because in 4hours, I may take breaks here and there and only end up getting a couple hours. In which case the PS3 PS+ Free trail of games would be far superior. (and free!)

Yeah, "unlimited" pricing would probably benefit Sony even.

People would justify the rental cost by telling themselves they can play ANY other title if they change their mind, and I'd be willing to be most people would not.

Wow where'd all these people who dislike Far Cry come from???

4371d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I think it's also worth mention that for many people, including myself, the PS4 is home for all 3rd parties as it stands.

Sony - whether right or wrong - is leveraging that advantage to improve their blockbusters.

Charging $29.99 for 90days of a 2011 title that no goes for $19.99 used (and also was given away free via PS+) is ridiculous.
