Game is listed to come out on the 27th tho I know a lot of countries already have it. I expect to have it Thursday (shipping date) since I preordered.
I got hooked on the multiplayer. So much so that I didn't even take time to play the singleplayer.
Don't get all these people saying it is "average" and "below average". It was by far an above average multiplayer game at least.

mmm got the Brawler pack free with the CE version. Wouldn't be worth paying for the other costumes. I rarely even use the ones I got free cuz they aren't even as kewl looking as the original costumes. Then Ryu and M. Bison's alternates are incredibly lame and not creative at all....
Only one I'd want is Gen's alt.

IGN is my number 1 review site to look at. I guess followed by Gamespot. Then I look at Gametrailers to laugh at their comments on PS3 exclusives.

The new trend online now is to set the match to 1 round and lowest time limit. Then pick Ryu, Ken, Guile, or any other character that can spam fireballs and then spam fireballs till the timer runs out.
Dear god I'm trading this sh*t in for Killzone 2. Love the online community. Least I know in Killzone MP there ain't much they can do from stopping me from shooting your face in with a machinegun.
people that say he is easy must not of beaten him with every character yet on the harder difficulties. You can't tell me you didn't have trouble with him on even medium difficulty with Dhalism.
Took me about 30 tries to beat him with Dhalism. He just constantly spams teleport and then does the unblockable throw bullshit and Dhalism is so slow it's hard to get away from it.
Killzone 2 commercial is kewl but I really wish they showed the game actually being played.
I think a bunch of uninformed people will probably just assume the commercial is just a cutscene like so many other games do for their commercials. Show a fancy cutscene that looks 10 times better than the actual game. Only difference here is all the Killzone footage is obviously ingame.
Just don't think a lot of people will know that....need to show how badass it looks be...

But also those Akumas are hilarious. Exactly how you describe it. Punch punch kick. They do that like 10 times before they get it to work.
Sux for me, as an Abel player tho, because Abel is so f-ing slow that when I try to run over and attack em they tap me with those hits. Need to just start picking a better character and make it easier on myself.

It rarely clears a fireball. You probably have to time it perfectly to do so. Doubt it will be possible to time it every time. Plus when the kick ends Abel is left completely open. Even when I hit the enemy with that kick there is nothing Abel can do after that. You can go for a kick or punch but it won't hit the enemy fast enough before they can hit you. All you can do is block their hit or jump away.
And since that is the case.....
ya marvel vs capcom 2 has and may very well always be my fav fighting game. I need 3 now.
As for the new characters in SF4. I love Abel. He just seems so gimped at times. These Ryu/Ken spammers beat me cuz Abel is too slow. I think he may actually be slower than Zangief which makes no sense.
I should just start picking Sagat and dominating them. Can't bring myself to play like a puss tho. I did a few times and beat them easily :/
pick ken or ryu and spam fireballs from a distance...then if the enemy gets close spam uppercuts and sweeps until you can get distance again then spam fireballs...repeat until you win.
Oh wait that is just how all the douches online play. Dear lord I'm seriously considering trading this game in already (for Killzone). There is no fun to be had with the online at all with these people. At least I pick Abel. You Ken/Ryu players want to try another character for once?
yep...pretty surprising. So thats...what...one out of two exclusives for 2009 and it sux bawls apparently. Not much else to look forward to exclusively this year that I know of for the 360. Only Halo ODST....and I could not give a flying f*ck about Halo.
love the game....wish online were more fun. Fighting games always turn into who can play the cheapest. Can't count all the Akuma, Ken, and Ryu players that run to the edge of the screen and spam fireballs. Seriously, get a little bit of skill when you play. It's not fun dominating you pansies that do that.
as for the comparison...it looks identical. Which is pretty funny considering I read a review that stated the PS3 version had AA problems that the 360 version doesn't. M...

I had to fight Seth about 100 times last night cuz I couldn't beat him with Dhalism.
I'd like to have one of those madcatz pads now after playing SF4. Seems like it would be very beneficial to have all the buttons on the front of the controller since there are a lot of moves where you have to hit a combination of medium, high, and low punches and kicks.
I heard a lot of people where having problems with it breaking tho....anyone got one? It work good?

Regardless Motorstorm is an awesome game but still....where be this weekly DLC they spoke of?
eh...all the games people actually care about will have trophies I'm sure. But who cares really? I only get trophies to help extend the playability of games I really like.
Only real shame was that MGS4 had no trophies tho they had a bunch of unlockables. Hope the new release of it has trophies...maybe trade in my regular copy of it for it if it does.
well considering you can combine abilities....wouldn't it be possible to use his speed ability with a turret ability?
Or any other variation. Don't care for the assault class since he only can carry grenade launcher and rocket launcher. Can't wait to see how the sniper rifle feels.
