Remember; the Xbone is only really competing in the US and the UK, it is available in the rest of the world but the Xbox brand just isn't as big there as it is in the US and UK. Vgchartz has the Xbone at 4.2 million for 2016 (as of october 29th), decent numbers but nothing mindblowing.

I get your point about Nadine kicking Sam and Nate's asses but using 'unrealistic' as an argument to support your point doesn't make any sense. I mean Nathan Drake destroyed entire mercenary armies single handedly. Uncharted isn't realistic and never was.
Because some media think that the US = World. But to be honest though, at the the start of the year I dindn't think the Xbone would win four months in a row in the US. November NPD will be really interesting because it will show wether people have been waiting for PS4 pro or (when Xbone wins november NPD) wether MS's momentum in the US will increase even further. Sony can't afford to lose november with a new hardware launch.
The slim was released mid september so still half a month of slim sales.

It's actually #1 on the amazon monthly list (right now). If it can take the top spot of the monthly within a week then I'd say pre orders look pretty good right now.

But seriously, I assume from your comment that you're a PlayStation fan. Guess what, me too. That doesn't mean I don't criticise Sony when sometings wrong in my opinion. Do you think that it's perfectly fine to delay nearly every game you publish?

Sony as a publisher had way too many delays though. Yes it's still better than releasing a broken game but it happens too much now. Either set a realistic release date or be realistic about what you want as a developer and develop your game accordingly.
Only time will tell I guess, they've definitely given MS marketing ammunition and they're already using it in every message.
I think Sony made made this decision based on user data from current PS4 users. Sony knows exactly what people do with their PS4 and I think they saw that a small percentage of users use their PS4 to watch bluray movies. Add that to the trend of streaming movies these days and there you go, no 4k bluray drive.

I mostly agree with you, but on the other hand it's never a good thing when the competition has something that you don't. Sony has always pushed the newest disc drives in the past so I was a little surprised by it. They just made a trade off and they clearly wanted to go for the 399 pricetag which is obviously the main selling point. Adding a 4k bluray drive and sell it for more would have cost them a lot of sales.

Too bad they changed the voice overs though, the old ones were much better. Watched some gameplay on youtube and especially the russian voice over was really annoying.
