Sony didn't advertise the PS4 Pro that much because they underestimated demand, increasing production doesn't happen in a day. They're starting to now though and I think they'll really start pushing it from september onwards.
Btw how do you think that perception for the Xbone x being next gen would go? People aksing for that 'next gen console', the guy from retail says yes here it is but there's another one where the games...
They can't advertise it as next gen because the graphical difference between the ps4 pro and xbone x won't be big enough to justify it as a next gen console.
How does luckyduck get so many disagrees? The pricecut for Horizon was the reason it was number 1 again in the UK. Still well deserved but nobody can deny it was because of the pricecut.
So you're fine with Nathan Drake killing entire mercenary armies and beating up guys twice the size of him but when Nadine beats up Drake and Sam she is way too overpowered? Makes sense.
If anyone is overpowered in the Uncharted series it's Nathan Drake, not that I care cause it's for the sake of gameplay but still.
Yeah it would be weird if the more powerful console wouldn't be able to do it. If PS4 Pro can do it at 4k the Xbone x should definitely be able to do it.
Well MS should stop calling it a true 4k console then, cause it isn't. They're saying it themselves in that article you came up with. Sony is calling it dynamic 4k and that would be better suited for the Xbone x as well. True 4k is misleading.

That's exactly what ms wants people to think, so they can shock people with the 399 pricepoint. They've continiously said it's gonna be a premium console so people expect a high price now, that's why I think it's gonna be 399 cause most people don't expect that.

Do you really think GTA V only sold 14.8 million on all platforms? Barricade is right, the screenshot is from PS4 sales for the game. Don't know what the author was doing when he wrote the article but he clearly didn't spend much time on it.

You're right, for PlayStation's standard, ps3 didn't do very well. And if you start comparing ps3/360 with ps4/xbone you have to align the sales just like in this xbone vs 360 graph. Vgchartz does that as well.

That lead will be gone in two months though. 360 was accelerating at this point in its lifetime, Xbone's momentum is mostly gone at this point.

Do you have a source for the Netherlands? I always assumed the PS3 outsold the 360 in the Nehterlands. I can't find any source that confirms it though. What I did find was a list of best selling games in the Netherlands for 2012. That list shows that all multiplatform games sold better on PS3 that year so that's a strong indication that the PS3 sold better than 360 in the Netherlands.

Where does overload downplay xbone sales?
I won't say the xbone does bad in terms of sales but it's not doing great either. I mean MS stopped sharing their sales and even shipped numbers for a reason, that can only mean they're not too happy about it either.
I can see Switch do well though, the reveal is tomorrow so we'll see how much hype it's gonna get. Hypes are unpredictable and with a rumoured price of 249 it should do well. Scorpio is in a tougher position I think, so far only hardcore Xbox fans have been enthusiastic. It needs a stellar E3 to do well I think.
But regardless of those new consoles being succesfull or not, Sony will have a great year.
55-56 is really conservative. PS4 sells an average of 1.4 million a month to consumers (53.4/37=1.44). The first three months are not the best months of the year but also not the worst, so to be safe let's say it will sell about 1.2 million a month in the next three months. Then it's at 57 million sold through at the end of march already, add shipped consoles and it will be pretty close to 60 million.

Btw did you know that Knack sold 25 million copies? Mostly digital as well, it's insane man. NPD and vgchartz didn't track that because 95% was sold digitally.

Switch is in stock at amazon UK as well and it's being outsold by the PS4 Pro at the moment.
