I've never been for it. Ever.
WEF weren't kidding. We're very much on that path now. There's rental and subscription services for pretty much everything.
I'll never be comfortable with not owning my games. If that's where the industry goes then I'll just stop gaming. It's that simple.
I haven't shopped at GAME in years.
I mean how DARE people want to own something they spend their hard earned money on, despicable behaviour!
It's not getting me used to anything because I don't subscribe and I never will.
£18 a month? Nah I'm good
Is 14 the mmo? I haven't got much time for mmo's but have to admit it does look good.
I did play ff13 but really didn't like it, so completely lost interest until 16 came along.
Also, add crisis core to the list - both the PSP original and 2022's Reunion. I'm quite the fan of CC
3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10-2, 7R and 16
I like BG3 and FF XVI equally. They aren't just my RPGs of 2023 but apple of my favourite RPGs ever.
@Cacabunga
Absolutely. I much prefer single player games.
Tbh Quake 2 is a lot of fun online that's for sure. They really showed how to do a remaster with that.
The vast majority of the games are I play are single player, and mainly RPGs. I do dip into GT7 or Quake 2 online every now and again but even on those games I prefer playing offline.
Funny you should mention the portal. Mine doesn't have drift, but both the sticks have this weird "click" when rotated. They've had this since day one. Not seemed to cause any issues but I do have concern about their longevity. My two launch day DualSense controllers are still perfectly fine though.
Improved battery life is always good, but I don't have an issue with the battery life on the current DualSense.
No. It'll come to pc but not Xbox. Keep dreaming. Remake hasn't even come to Xbox so what makes you think Rebirth will?
Do you?
Every time I see an Xbox article I get a strong feeling of Deja vu. It's like we've heard all this many times before.
It's been going on for so long that it's kind of a tradition at this point.
I'm neither confused nor frustrated, and now that the idiot at Ubisoft came out and said we should get comfortable with not owning our games, he just basically ensured that I would never subscribe to it. Keep that rubbish well away from my PS5!
