Been loving mine. I will always prefer using my PS5 on a big screen but the Portal is a good way to keep the PS5 accessible while the TV is in use. Plus, although it's not an OLED the screen is actually very good, nice and bright and very colourful. Happy to have it in my PS5 ecosystem. Choice is never a bad thing 👍

I spent 100 hours in Horizon forbidden West. It is a decent game but honestly Aloy has to be one of the most irritating characters ever. I really hope that if there is another Horizon, Guerrilla either change Aloy's attitude or drop her altogether.
Death Stranding is fantastic though, and the director's cut on PS5 is a great upgrade from the PS4 version. The bump in framerate from 30 to 60 makes a massive difference.
Yes. For me I'd say yes. I had far more fun with FF16 than I did with FF7R.
Having said that I'm very much looking forward to Rebirth.
Now this is a list I can get behind! Never played Returnal or Cyberpunk so can't comment on those but the rest of your list is spot on.
I mean, the list misses one of the best (and free) PS5 games: Astro! It's the perfect introduction to PS5 and the features of the DualSense, and is a decent little game in its own right.
Personally I'd take out Ghostwire from that list as well, and replace it with R&C as another showcase for what PS5 is capable of in terms of graphics, controls and even sound- the 3D audio is excellent with the Pulse headset.

Yeah I've got the brightness turned down to about 75%. Still looks good.
There's a lot on sale. Nothing I particularly want though.
I have a £25 store credit to use too, but I guess there's no rush.
Finally got to use my new PS Portal. Impressed so far, but the battery life falls way short of what was advertised. Mind you, it's likely because I have the brightness cranked up to max.
