Yeah, I agree FIFA 92 on the SEGA Megadrive (Genesis) was actually quite awesome back in the day. Of course, once you learned the AI pattern, the game became a joke.

'Kick Off' - Amiga/Atari ST. Superb footy game, incredibly fast with easy and fluid controls.
'Emlyn Hughes International Soccer' C64 - one of the finest footy games you'll ever play. Simple controls that work like a charm. Blast to play.
Well, if that is indeed true and E3 is

Then, MS failed on that regard. Yes, MS showcased games, which is all well and fine, but so did Nintendo and Sony, the difference is that the others also showcased new hardware.

One of the sweetest games ever made, played it the whole summer in 1985, sometimes playing to 3am (which for a 14yr old was cool!)
Never got tired of that game, I still remember when I was able to buy the docking computer (1500cr) - that was awesome!
As for this new version.. looks totally amazing, wonder what specs will be required to run it at it's best?
So, I'll assume these figures will cost, what $10 each, maybe a 3 pack for $25?
Hopefully Nintendo does a great bundle cause that's gonna get expensive quick!
To be honest and IMO, neither - almost equal in fact. Oh they showed games alright but quite a lot of them (the heavy hitters) aren't coming until 2015.
Will make for an interesting E3 2015 that's for sure.

That was one thing that made me sad yesterday.. I honestly thought MS was going to do a brand new 'Conker' game, I had a big stupid smile on my face..
..but then it turns out to be for 'Project Spark'.. dirty rotten trick.
I don't know why MS continues to ignore it's IPs.. a new 'Conker' on next gen console, could be amazing. Maybe next year then MS?
Yet another game in 2015 though.. bet this one doesn't see the light of day until Fall 2015 too.

You do know that E3 is a trade show, right - as in the industry? That's why they talked hardware, figures, Sony TV - expect Nintendo to do the same.
Yeah, MS did show games, 99% of which were CGI trailers, multiplatform titles.. In my eyes, their show was underwhelming and downright boring.
Pity we couldn't get 'Day of the Tentacle', 'The Dig' or 'Full Throttle' either.
Still have my old PC CD-Rom - such an amazing game. Day 1 buy for me on the Vita
Oh really.. what with everything being delayed to 2015, I see no god damn reason whatsoever to buy a PS4/XBOne in 2014 (except maybe Black Friday)
I have a feeling a lot of games delayed to 2015 won't be out until Q1 2016.

Awww really? Well, since there's already been a Mirror Edge, this makes #2 - see how that works?
EA is all concepts and that PGA Tour Golf extreme has already been done as well.
That's just it - it's a CONCEPT and concept's change. So, who knows what they showed today will even be in the game when it gets released.
Which will be when BTW, 2016? I sure get the feeling we saw a lot of 2016 game that are CONCEPTS in 2014.
That 'Mirror's Edge 2' left me cold.. not excited by that at all and I thoroughly enjoyed the first one

Did like 'The Witcher 3' gameplay - can't wait for that.
