Think i'll wait to see how this one turns one.. Got suckered in by the trailer of the last one and man, that game was a disappointment to me. So bland, so un-scary and downright annoying at times too.
The thing is with 'Conker' though.. I just can't see them releasing a game like the previous ones. There are far too many "sensitive" types who are always looking for the next scandal in video games.
Being diverse is the latest buzzword and white-knight banner for videogames.
I bet EA buys them.

Most if not all cable/sat providers only output 720p/1080i - your TV (if you have one that is 1080p) is scaling that picture for you. I still have some channels that don't even have a HD channel (BBC America, Chiller) or if they do, it isn't offered by my cable operator.
Do Netflix/Hulu output 1080p?
All that stuff you see in the trailer.. yep, that's the entire game, you on Toothless flying through rings, blasting targets on shore or other variations.

Heck, The Avengers 2 is being partially paid for by the Chinese (as was Iron Man 3). Disney is making a boat of movies/TV shows in the UK due to tax credits, UK now also offers tax credits on game companies too..
If the US or individual States don't want to offer an incentive to keep a company, don't complain when that company goes somewhere else.
Let's just hope Sony supports PSTV.. cause they did a lackluster job with the PSP and now they're repeating it with the Vita.

As for other games.. Midwinter, Starglider 2, Defender of the Crown, IT! Came from the Desert, Rainbow Islands, Hunter (an old Activision game that was amazing back in the day), Kick-Off, Sensible Soccer, Batman the Movie, Robocop..

This game pretty much sold the Amiga to the gaming public in the UK/Europe. I remember the news on TV showing that opening cinematic. It really did blow people's minds back then.
Great game too, but hard and unforgiving.. only finished it once and even then I had help from my brother.

Only took the Wii U almost 2yrs to get a game that sells though.. and don't worry BoneBone, the Wii U will be back where it usually is come the July NPD.
Mario Kart 8 (great game that it is) simply won't move the kind of units like yesteryear.

Thanks for that.. yeah, I fully checked, even tried some of the workarounds other forum members posted over there.. Miraak just doesn't go down for nothing.. I tried once for almost 3hrs and it was the same, time after time.
Eventually, I'll get around to starting Skyrim fresh again, but for now I'm in no rush.
I stopped playing Skyrim on my 360 due to game ending glitch on the Dragonborn DLC.. Having done everything you should with a Bethesda game (clean fresh save all the time) don't drop too much stuff in any one location, auto save off, the usual things..
Played the game, went through it, 300+hrs, got all the DLC and went through it, scouting, side quests.. got to the last DLC, Dragonborn, going through it, enjoying it immensely.. now have more than 500+hrs, come to the fina...

Seriously?, go look at the technical specs for both consoles, not only is there a difference between the 2, but that difference (at the end of the day) is quite large.
I dunno man, I shop quite a bit at Sam's club and they have those Skylanders figures as low as $5 and the Disney Infinity for around $7-8, depends on the store though.. can't see Nintendo allowing that though.
