Man, I was reading the comments on the original story.. Holy chit! some very angry people out there.. PC gamers (surprising to me) are very vocal over it.
Oh, well, Crystal Dynamics had better hope for truely gang buster sales.. cause they went and burned that bridge. If this game flops, I can see Crystal Dynamics folding.
Irrational promised it (at least Ken Levine) for the Vita.. but they didn't deliver.

Which is not hard considering the price of the PS3 at launch compared to the PS4.. my wife still gets mad at me, that I paid $600 for that. It was worth it, that phat 60GB backward compatible PS3 was a damn thing of beauty!
Pretty sure there's a clause in the contract with MS that doesn't allow it to come on a rival's console.
Crytek may own the IP but MS more than likely wrote the contract.
Multiple "fetch" quests where the reward isn't worth a damn considering what you expended to get the quest done.. I'm looking at you Borderlands 1 & 2!

They did the same in FarCry though - the first half of that game, just you making your way around that tropical island picking off the mercs.. that was awesome, complimented with awesome graphics.
Then we got into the research facility and boy what a howler, cookie cutter level design, muddy graphics.. compared to the first half, they were bad, awful even.. it's almost like they remembered they had to finish this game.. that second half of the game is also incredibly shor...
So, 2K can bring it to iOS but the Vita gets nothing..

Crytek UK is closed. Homefront: Revolution, Deep Silver bought the IP and assets and gave it to their new studio Dam Buster Games in Nottingham.
More DRM, the end of retail console copies of games, paid demo's. It won't stay $5. Those of you with ISP caps are SOOL. You won't actually own your games.
If this is the future, screw it, I'll stick with my PS3/360/Wii and older consoles.
