It's a good sale, unfortunately though between their (cog's) last sale, steam and humble bundles.. a lot of the games they have on sale, i've already gotten.
Shame really.
I completely agree, a new 'Burnout' - BUT since most of the original guys that created 'Burnout' are gone from Criterion - it wouldn't be the same game.

We came so close a couple of gens ago, maybe it's time for another go.
Yet Insomniac knew the terms of any contract when working with Sony - and yet still worked with them.
I find it funny that over the last couple of days, Insomniac has had more press coverage than it ever has and yes, they're burning bridges.. if it wasn't for PS fans since the PS1 days, as a studio they wouldn't even be around.
I say, good riddance.. let see how they like being shackled to MS.

And there was a glitch in collecting those eggs too.. the more eggs you had the more lives you had.. so, everytime you saw an egg, move off the screen slightly when you collect it and it kept coming back. In no time at all you had 99 lives to complete the game.. yes those 3D levels were quite cool.. hated the ending though, I was expecting something, anything actually.. nope, we got that funky mode 7 spinning the screen widly while fading out to white over the sound...
Well, what about those games that could be completed in a few hours - still doesn't justify the huge prices.
I remember paying 50 pounds for 'Jurassic Park' on the SNES and I finished that game in just over 8hrs (no save games on that cartridge) There was no replay value as there wasn't a difficulty settings.. so 1 and done.

Both look damn fine to me.. wish I had a PS4 so I could play them when they're released.
It's not exactly a raging success on the PC at the moment.. in fact (IMO) pretty sure it's a disaster sales wise..
I have no confidence whatsoever for either console version, if it does indeed come out in 6 months (can see it being moved to Feb or Mar 2015)
I was going to get the 360 version.. but 4 discs! Why 4 discs for a single player game? I'll be sure to get the PS3 version then.

I get the feeling they'll be no 'Fallout 4' announcement at E3 (I really do hope I'm wrong though) but what with the delay of 6 months on the console versions of 'Elder Scrolls Online' ZeniMax and Bethesda are going to have their hands full.
I thought the Commonwealth setting had already been debunked by Bethesda?

Well, I think we can both agree that whatever Nintendo needs to do, it needs to do now and not later.. the longer it waits, the worse it will be for them to comeback.
Whatever they do, I hope that they don't call it 'Wii xxx' - the Wii name is done, time for something else.
Right now, maybe that's what Nintendo needs to do.. completely miss a generation or two (if needed) see how the market shifts and what consumers wants.
Still release and maintain a handheld console (but, even that market is changing and some would say not for the best either) But forego the home console, for now at least.. and then release something amazing, that everyone would want.
The Wii U is just not selling - unless something drastic happens I can't see Nintendo offering support for another year.
Heck, it's in their annual report - for the entire year 2014 (worldwide) Nintendo forecasts 3.6mil Wii U sold.. that's it

I doubt you'll be seeing any new IP's from Insomniac on the Sony side.. all you can hope for is another R&C rehash.
Insomniac have made it pretty clear they want to own their IP's - which under the current conditions, just isn't available with Sony.
Don't worry though, I'm pretty sure they'll continue to burn bridges with Sony and it's fanbase, so that in a few years, they'll be exclusive only on MS.
