Those games are alright (i play a couple of those, except last rebellion and neptunia. I still think Lost odyssey is the best "classic" JRPG this gen. In fact, i like it even a bit more than the old classic like FF7 for example. They took a new route with short stories (so much more effective than any CGI could convey in that it is just so much more detail and really helps to get to know your characters life). Kaim is one of the most bad ass character in JRPG that i have seen so...

Well Sony plan to go for the 10 years cycle, and currently they are almost half way. The most it can ran right now is at 30fps. There are possibly limitation, but shouldn't they spread them in increment of 3 years, doubling fps every 3 years -> ~120fps at the end of 10 years?

I'm having a hard time seeing it hitting 60fps currently, not to even mention 120fps. When kenkutaragi talked about 120fps, 1080p and 4D, I think he was ...

yeah, they sure talk a lot of shits, but turn 10 sure got stuff to back them up though.

Have u played Lost Odyssey (best traditional JRPG this gen so far. Turn base RPG are rare these days sadly), Tales of Vesperia, Valkyrie Chronical, demon soul? Why wait for good JRPG this gen, "we" have plenty. SE is not the only people who know how to make JRPG.

I don't know about u, but no JRPG this gen has done FF13 numbers. As long as u have that FF in the title, it is likely to make money regardless. It is just the way things are ...

FF7,8,9,10 have everything to do with this retard discussion about "going MP with multiple discs was to blame for FF13 being crappy". Did multiple discs cause those game to be like shit, especially when FF13 is almost an exact copy of FF10 (same linearity, similar gameplay and skill upgrade, just a different storym, etc..), except FF13 get criticized to death while FF10 was praise to no end. Does multiple discs have anything to do with a lack luster s...

They did cut a whole game of contents, those contents are called FF13-2 (u know the spin off) and they gonna sell it for > $60. It has town, exploration, NPC interaction, cinematic/QTE battle sequence. Are u sure SE remove them because of disc space issues?

I don't see how game like RDR, Assassin creed, Fable 2/3, Fallout, etc.. look that good and they ran quite fine on one DVD. If you gonna say SE can't afford more than 3 discs, ...

From the look of it, it seems many of you here are fans of the console, not the game. What the fuck does going multiplatform have anything to do with the game being good or not?

It sure didn't stop FF7 - FF10 from being one of the best few FF games around right, so why now?

Since i don't have PS+ or PSP, i guess remote control is the cause then, might be that trigger button at the bottom. Thanks man, great help.

Since many of you guys know how the ps3 works here, do u guys actually know how to keep the PS3 from turning it self back on? It kept turning on by itself for no reason at all, even after i turned it off manually or within the users interface. I had to leave it unplug.

PC games always have the option to change graphic
setting to make it playable on the hardware that you have. You also have mods, like the new GTA mods to render a large open realistic world is quite amazing to say the least. Beside, not everyone have high end PC. But if u do, u can see a big difference and could be like this picture (u don't need next gen to see it). Just go look up on Crysis 1, BFBC 3, GTA 4 mod, etc....

I just hope this new "feel" of cutting down enemies don't slow down the lightning pace of ninja gaiden (which is the best part about the game). It also feels like the dragon blade is aging, it used to cut through pretty much anything like butter, now, u actually feel the resistance.

@oner and Why o Why

Kinect star war might still be on rail true, i'm not sure, but i did give example that you can move around in rise of nightmare (it is free movement, not on rail), plus other kinect hack videos (L4D, Dead Space for examples) show that you can move around freely using kinect. They can make it freemovement for star war if they want as well (but maybe they op for on rail instead, don't know). If you still say those videos/games aren't proof th...

Yes you can actually hold anything in your hand to make it feel more immersive. You can hold a table tennis racket to play kinect sport ping pong games (not recommended though cause it might slip and you might need to get a new tv) or a anytype of wheels (toys, anything with a wheel like structure for stability if you like) for racing game too (because it is program to log on to your hand movement, not these other objects) Kinect specialty is that you can prog...

@why o why?

Can they implement dual saber wielding for PS move while allowing you to move freely?

An example is like Rise of nightmare for example. where u can still move around freely(might still be a bit clunky) but you can dual wield and such.

They aren't propriatary engine. ND and GG are just messing/tinkering around w/ the Havoc engine; that engine has been out for quite sometime now. There are many games that used that engine include demon soul/ Ninja Blade for example. Similar to "Ubisoft engine" for Splinter Cell conviction where it actually just a tinkered version of Unreal engine.

And no, it can't be compare to CRy3/frostbite engine. If ...
