All that matters to me is that this is a nice, long (for an FPS), game. I hate paying 60 dollars for a game that I can beat in 2 days.
WOW! That was one of the greatest FPS's I have ever played. If it didn't have the electricity powers, it would feel like and ordinary old shooter. But the powers you get really give it a unique experience. Well I'm off to play it again. Definitely getting this game on day 1. Good thing I already have it on pre-order =P.
P.S. Can't we just have a peaceful demo discussion without fanboy comments like "I don't like the first person view" or "over-hyped Lair"?

I hope Sony continues to try to perfect the core online parts of the PSN after it releases Home. I'm really excited about Home and can't wait until it is released, but I don't want to go through a virtual world in order to access all the features that I get with XBL. Sony needs to have Home as an ADDITION to its main online infrastructure, not to be the MAIN attraction.
I'm gonna have to disagree with you on that one Mr. Murda, and it could be because I LOVE RPGs. I love Gears. I own Gears. I have played through gears twice on single player and God knows how many times on co-op. It's a great game. But I think Oblivion or Zelda should have won. God of War 2 should have won best action game, not Zelda, because although Zelda has action elements in it, it is mainly an RPG.
Just my thoughts on this matter.

I preordered the game from Best Buy 3 days ago, and the preorder box has the only on 360 tag on it.
Anyway, I already preordered it for 360, so even if it does go to PS3, it wouldn't matter. I normally get multiplatform shooters for my 360 because of rumble. Action games (DMC4) on PS3 because I don't like the 360 controller when it comes to the action genre.
I don't think it's true, but how will this hurt Sony like the article states? Sure they are reporting losses, but I really doubt having GTA, Bully, Manhunt, etc. all exclusive to Sony consoles is a bad thing for them. This wouldn't be good or bad for Rockstar either. The only person it would hurt is Take Two. And even if Sony does buy Rockstar, they're probably gonna have to pay Take Two a LOT of money.

Exactly. Which is why many clueless people refer to the 360 and PS3 as "game boxes", and why they criticize their high prices with statements like: "$500 for a game box? That's absurd".
True, their primary purpose is for games, but they can do so much more. And this extra functionality is what consumers need to be educated about.

40% of PS3 owners are aware of Blu-ray player? People must be really stupid these days. Theres a big fat Blu-ray logo on the front of the box, and one on the front and back of each game. There's a Blu-ray logo anywhere that has anything to do with a PS3.
Not knowing theres HD in a Xbox 360 or PS3 is understandable. But Blu-ray? That's just silly. Some may not use the Blu-ray functionality, but not knowing it's there is really dumb.

Yeah, I don't understand why Sony and Microsoft continue treating multi-platform games like exclusives. For example: During Microsoft's E3 press conference, they listed 3 games that would sell Xbox 360s. GTA IV, Halo 3, and Madden 08. 2 of those are also coming out on PS3. Yes, I know GTA IV has the extra downloadable content and Madden has 60 fps on 360, but its still pretty much the same game.
The 300 versions of HD DVD and Blu-ray have the same specs for audio and video except for the fact that Blu-ray has uncompressed PCM 5.1 sound.
Stop whining about the audio and picture quality when they are the same on each disc. As for the extra content on HD DVD, fair enough. But don't go on saying "BLU-RAY SUCKS. THE HD DVD VERSION OWNS BLU-RAY BECAUSE THE BLU-RAY VERSION LOOKS LIKE CRAP COMPARED TO HD DVD."

How is the war going to end when the studios support both? It's like saying an arms dealer who only supplied weapons for one of two warring countries decided to supply both and continued fueling the war. The only way this war will end is when HD DVD or Blu-ray get cheap players. Blu-ray already has the majority of the major studio support.
