After they get rid of the 60GB, they need to drop the 80GB by $200 to $399. If they can do that, they will have won this Christmas against the 360 and will come really close to the Wii.
But the chances of that happening are really slim.
I can't wait for this game. I'm probably just gonna get the PSN version because there's already too much to buy this Holiday season.

This guy must be really bored and lonely right now to sit down and try to spew out negativity about something like MGS. If he thinks it's over hyped, fine. But you can't deny the impact MGS has on PS consoles, and that millions of people around the world love this game.

As much as I love Oblivion, it won't work in Japan. And on top of that, they're releasing it on 360 not PS3. Western RPG + Western System = Disaster in Japan.
They need another 100 dollar price cut by the end of this year. If they can run out of 60GBs, replace the 60GBs with 80GBs for 499, and then drop the 80GBs to 399, then they would be in a very good position this Christmas.

They won't fully support a movie download service until Blu-ray is the clear winner in the format war. Because even if your PS3 plays Blu-ray, why would you go out and buy the disk if you can buy the same thing (at a usually cheaper price) and have it saved to your hard drive.
Music service, maybe. Fully supported movie service before HD DVD is completely extinct, probably not.
Please stop wasting your time hating on a consumer electronics product. It's a MACHINE. If you don't like it then go play Xbox 360 or Wii and leave PS3 owners alone. If you think they're wasting their time playing on an (in your opinion) inferior system, then thats fine. But please stop ruining this great website with your fanboy garbage.
Great demo, I finally got used to the blocking automatic blocking system after my 4th time playing through the demo. Once you get used to it though, you'll enjoy it. But alas, it isn't a God of War. Still gonna get it on day 1 though.
My only complaint is the blocking system. I'm used to manual blocking like in GoW, but I guess it just takes time getting used to. Well, I'm off to go play it again...Definitely gonna pick this game up when it comes out.

@ #6 - If they make sequels, they won't milk the franchise if Kojima-san is in charge. That guy is a true visionary just like Kutaragi-san. As long as a sequel is lead by Kojima-san, the series will be fine.

Mr. Walsh needs to be informed about what kind of "M" rated game they're playing before he goes about saying stuff like that. Just because it's M doesn't mean it has to have sex, drugs, extreme violence, language, etc.
Halo 2 is rated M for violence + blood and gore. It does say language on the back, but that is only for the single player campaign. Plus, anyone who's played Halo 2 single player knows that the "language" they use really isn't anything kids do...
I can't wait for some Zerg info. They were my favorite race in the original StarCraft.
