What now, Sony going to take away more features from the system?
The usb ports perhaps? How about the disc drive and set up a remote service for us to stream games from, Sony. Sony's lost their eye for consumer demand and what's important here.
They only update their system with security fixes and leave all the stuff gamers and consumers have been asking for on the back burner.
Don't be surprised if you turn on your PS3 ever...
Think about all the money and savings he is paving the way for these very same people. It's kind of like the PS+ service if you think about it.
Pay a few bucks now save even more later.
hahahaha
The system is 4 years old and it's still 300 bucks at retail -- This is indication of a problem. Check computer prices for 4 year old hardware then and today. Sony needs a price drop, and not some 30 dollar one. They need to get to mass market, 199.99 price and they need to do it this year.
@below
Then Sony's always going to be last, and there is nothing they can do to change that. I do believe they're making profit on the ps3 now and have be...
Crazy how far people will go. Sony needs to admit defeat and work along side these hackers for once. This hacking scene has made Sony give us even less with their updates than ever. When is the last time they updated with an actual useful feature?
Sony's gotta do something to get some attention.
Ps2 -- finally sinking
PSP -- sinking
PSPgo -- sank
PS3 -- sinking as we speak
Hip Hop -- YOU have no journalist skills. Zero. Zip. None.
So, in this instance, consider yourself "SMASHED"!
No. Every MG game has been stiff, stale and boring. The gameplay is beyond band in MG games and yet people, usually gamers "hahaha", lobby for it like it's the best thing ever.
I'm sure it was all needed space too
*winks*
Pathetic. Blu-ray is a gimmick and a detour-ant roadblock to scare hackers and pirates away. Nothing more -- Nothing less. Blu-ray holds no more advantage for the Ps3 than HD-DVD's do for the xbox 360.
The disc space, while plenty, has no weight on how good the graphics in a game are. These developers are working on a game and that game would have the same quality in graphics if it we...
The day we can simply pick up such a device and not have to do the following
1. Grab 50 different wands or nav controllers
2. Hook up a shoddy web-cam with cutting edge technology from the 90's powering it -- Into the (FRONT) of your console since Sony doesn't have any usb ports on the back of their units like idiots.
3. Calibrate it every time you use it.
4. Find the right spot to play in (standing and seating) With ...
I love Sony!!!
PS3 bombed bigger than Oprah's new network. Crazy. LBP2 came out this week too, didn't it? Some system seller.
Media Molecule is one of them fish you'd reel out of the water, look at and toss it back. Not Sony, though. They keep just about anything. < well, except their fan base.
The Sony name is officially D.O.A. here in the states. Sony, much like Superman before them, is dead. Only, let's hope they don't get resurrected in some lame attempt to appease the fans.
I'd love to see Sony's response to this, though. Hell, we, as the consumer, deserve to know what Sony has in store for us. Don't we? I mean, it's our damn right to know Sony's plans sine we did shell out 600, 500, 400 and more recently 300 bucks a pop for the...
I grew up on games and I can't stand gaming today.
10 reasons why normal people hate gaming
1. They're boring
2. They're a waste of money
3. They're all the same
4. They're 60 bucks a pop when you could pay a utility bill or, if you have them, buy something for your kids.
5. They have no real point at the end of the day.
6. There is too many consoles and n...
I might have to buy this game now.
Obama is a democratic puppet. He's a dolt, not unlike all democrats before him.
He's a 1 term guy.
I can see this being somewhat true -- Gaming is a downer. I have a long time friend who has been a gamer for years and years and years and years. He will pace a game out so much that it'll take him a month to 2 months to beat it. Why? Because he doesn't want to beat it too fast. When he does beat it he gets depressed. Like he didn't want it to end.
I laugh about it but it's very sad. It's almost like an emotional bond the gamer has with the game and...
The human centipede was tame and stale. Aftermath, a movie many, many, many years before it blows it away in shock value by leaps and bounds. It's also a 30 min movie. Watch it and you'll know what I'm talking about. It's also a very strange film in it that it has not one line of spoken dialect. It's not David Lynch quality, but it'll leave you with something none the less.
Much like the taste of fast-food in the 80's has gone south -- movies,...
Just as good, if not better, than KZ3. Interesting.
This is just as criminal to the consumer as hacking is to the corporations.
Pot meet kettle.
George did nothing wrong here. He hacked his system and he told others how to do the same -- What they do is not his problem. Charles Manson never killed a single person, yet he's held to a higher measure of the law than the actual people who he "allegedly" said to kill for him.
Age ol' saying --> If George Hotz told you to jump off a building, would you?
I 100% support him and even gave him money for his cause. What, Sony gonna sue me...
