The only time Resistance 2 looked acceptable was after you had beaten it and were given the depth of field filters. I had to play with a DF of x2 to make it look even remotely worth the bluray it was printed on. It was horrible looking without it. The textures are some of the worst I've seen this gen and a good portion of last gen.
I call propaganda -- Sony and LG are probably working hand in hand on this one. Sony wants to get rid of these "hack" friendly devices, LG can no doubt use some of the parts, like the bdr drives, and BAM! Deal is done.
Sony ushers in new hardware around May, looks just like the current ones -- They say they've reached and agreement, everyone is happy -- They both win.
This is a ploy.
To get the sensation that anything is possible -- Sometimes people need to know that the improbable is possible. It gives more weight to your actions and adds believability into a clearly made up world. If people didn't break down barriers we'd still be sitting at square one too afraid to go to square two for nothing more than the fear it'd be too radically different for our brains to handle.
The only fps' that matter are Killzone 2 and Killzone 3 - End of the discussion. They look different. They feel different. They play different. They're the only fps that stand out in the sea of mediocrity.
Knowing Nintendo they'd rather remake one of the other many countless Mario games into 3-d than make one specific for the 3ds. It's so absurd how Nintendo has milked this series for 30 years almost.

This game is undeniably full of suck! No patch in the world will unsuck this game. It sucks that much.

Please, whatever. Developers pushed this game like crazy on the PS2 when it came out and nobody bought it -- Now, flash foward years later, the developers and idiot critics get their second chance at making this game relevant. It sucked then and it sucks now. Go away.
I knew this was coming already -- No surprise here. I mean, anytime we see xbox 360 footage first and then have to wait 6 months to see PS3 footage, yeah, it's gonna be bad. What you all need to wait for is when Skyrim comes out and looks like cow utters on the PS3. Now that's going to be classic.
If Sony would spend the money that they used for this waste on the Ps3 and advertising and securing new IP development, they might have jumped to the top spot in the only race that matters -- THE CONSOLE ONE.

Not impressed in the least. It looks like every other FPS out there, only a little washed out.
And with that, this game just became the best game ever made in the medias eyes. Why? Because it's only on the xbox 360. We see this a lot with them -- Limbo and Braid are just two examples of the media pushing absurdity down your throats.

Whatever -- I played COD last night for the first time in my life. The demo for CODBO's. It's atrocious. It is beyond horrible. It is a friggin' train wreck of ugly and sloppy.
Killzone 3 can get all the average scores these idiots want to toss out at it, it'll just be the best kept secret in the FPS genre. That's cool with me, now go play your COD kids.

Anything he can possibly do to make the FPS genre worth looking at and I'm game. I am so sick and tired of FPS and online deathmatches it's not even funny.
I hope he breaks the damn mold and gets companies like Bungie, Epic, Valve, Activision, EA and Insomniac thinking about new ways to play.
