It will never end. It's like Star Trek, Bonanza or Jersey Shore. It just goes on and on and on.
Anything that gets fat, lazy, uninhibited gamers off their ass and gets them motivated and moving is a plus and a win. I wish all hardcore games would die out and turn into nothing but short burst casual experiences for the family and for fitness/dance. It is highly detrimental to youth's health that they put perspective before desire.
I am all for motion gaming -- Kinect, Move, wii and anything else someone wants to throw into the mix to divert consumers away from Call...
Too bad. They certainly need to be.
Good on her! This is why motion gaming is important. Get people away from the recliners and sofa's, get them away from the fps online deathmatches and get them moving.
I'm happy for her.
Ok, next time you buy something, anything, give me a call so I can tell you what to do with it and how.
And freedom of speech also conveys and covers expression. Remember that.

Anyone who is disagreeing with me is clearly not an American or if they are they're democratic morons. You people don'...
What's Sony gonna do, sue the whole world? G'luck with that one Sony.
I went with the ps3 because I knew I wasn't going to be gaming a whole lot. It did much more than the other two systems did and so it just seemed like a logical fit to put in the living room at the time. I'm sure the wii and xbox 360 are better gaming machines, I wouldn't know as I've seldom played either, but for what I use it for the Ps3 is just fine.
Anything that makes FPS go away is a win for everybody. The more people's games get hacked the less interest they'll have to go back to the pointless venture to begin with.
I hope they hack every FPS on the Ps3.
100% BAM! AGREE! WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
They're worthless and pointless. Get rid of them. Online deathmatches keep fat kids laying around on their fat asses even more than they already are. They simply sit there racking up imaginary kills, deluding their mind into thinking killing is alright so long as there is a rank involved.
Just doesn't seem productive to me.
To be fair it's also far, far easier to blame media than it is Religion or Politics. There aren't as many gamers out there as there are political or religious fanatics. Less to offend or debate with.
Cajun, basically what you're saying is if Sony were to allow this no one would support them. Right? So basically they'd be in last place. Right?
So really nothing would change. Thank you.
I think it certainly has some factor in it. More and more FPS are coming out by the hour it seems, and these FPS are glorifying death, dominance and rank above all else.
America is a violent, disinvested nation. They've become so because of their so called "freedoms". Back when all we could do was jump barrels, bust blocks out with our head, climb vines and collect coins this stuff did not happen in near the capacity that it does now. And when it did it was ...
PSN download for me. This changes everything. I wasn't going to get it disc based, but now I probably will just because it's easier and more convenient. I sure wish Sony would allow us to install all our games to the drive and play from there. Would be nice.
If Microsoft, Nintendo and Apple combined can't stop piracy and hackers what makes Sony think they can? They're beat. Sony needs to learn to live with that and find a happy medium that, maybe even supports some homebrew apps. Maybe Sony can make some of these hacks official. Sony needs to think about what makes their system good and what could make it better.
They support mods for Epic's Unreal and will support Portal 2 mods (AKA-- HOMEBREW), yet don't sup...
"Sony drops a bunch of new stuff onto the PlayStation Network"
Couldn't help but laugh. Yesterdays update was so bad I didn't even go to the store to check it out.
Can't polish a turd.
Sony's next step in preventing piracy -- Disabling the usb ports via firmware and telling the consumers to go and buy chargers for their controllers.
George will then, as clever as he is, find a way to splice that charger into the main unit and use it to hack the ps3 again. I a 100% behind George here. I have no desire to steal games, got plenty of money to buy what i want when I want to. This isn't about stealing or anything like that. This is now about principle ...
Since Sony owns the PS3's we've all bought, next time mine breaks down they're paying for it. Why should I have to pay for something I don't own?
Reading over Sony's doc's one can really see clearly just how delusional they are. They really believe they can sell the PS3 at 600, 500, 400 and recently 300 bucks to the consumer, yet still retain ownership of the product.
That isn't how it works, Sony. If anything this might turn people away from the Ps3 further if you think about it. Some people might question what they truly do and do not own by going the Sony route. I mean, do we own the games we bought ...
Gotta do something to get rid of undesirable appliances.
