While RAGE and Uncharted may be considered a let down by some, CliffyB's reasoning was absurd. He just complained they where not the games HE wanted to play. Three-wave CTF in RAGE? Non-linear Uncharted?
Well in that case I'm disappointed Gears 3 wasn't an MMORPG--'cause frankly that's what I wanted.
The guy's a great developer, but views the game industry exclusively through his own lens--forgetting that some people WANTED a single-p...
You haven't read Fleming's novels have you? Craig is more like Bond than any of the previous ones.
Wow, kudos to the author of this article--they get it. Best gaming top ten list I've seen in a while; an honest, experienced piece on ten 'actually' underrated games.
Anyone still play this game?
Jesus, quit gaming now, you'll never be pleased.
So basically: play the game. Great advice! ;)
If the games are good, I see no issue. While Brotherhood/Revelations were very similar they were still fun.
The AC games are all about immersion and escapism anyway, that kind of approach doesn't demand completely new gameplay/features with every game. Sometimes another title is just a great excuse to enter that world again. From that perspective, more AC games? Bring 'em on.
Now this is a review. IGN on the other game gives this a 7.5; I'm quitting that site.

We got Xenoblade!
It's good to see Sony supporting and nurturing new developers without eventually buying them out, shutting them down, or forcing exclusivity indefinitely.
EDIT: Also note, PixelJunk Eden recently hit Steam (Q-Games).
I'm as big an xbox gamer as the next guy, but c'mon. Another Gears sequel (name one other exclusive franchise with FOUR sequels on the same system), then Forza, Halo, and FABLE sequels!? They might not copy *other* companies, but they no doubt copypasta their own games to incredible heights.
Darksiders 2 is the sleeper GOTY of 2012.
