I personally can't afford to buy new consoles all the time- I want to spend my money on games! If that means my game isn't quite as good as the PC version, I don't care.
Nah, Code Veronica X is pretty good and old school like the first few...restricted movement and atmosphere etc. made it quite intense at times. More focused on puzzles.

I hope it isn't doomed and that it gets more 3rd party games, but I think the article is concerned about games and lack of games. That includes PS Vita if it is as slow as PSP has been with a variety of releases.
Devs and publishers want to know they will make money and so will only make games for platforms that have a huge user base and software uptake.
If platform buyers are only forking out for Nintendo franchises, they will not bother, and ultimately...

The PSP was a new entry into the handheld market. Nintendo has a huge market share with the DS.
Nintendo handheld owners have often upgraded from Gameboy to the different DS types.
So not meeting their sales targets is a big problem and making huge quarter losses when you've launched the new console isn't good either.
Well to be fair, one might argue that downloads are the future looking at smartphones and iPod and that 3D isn't the future...

They really do need to publicise XBLA titles better. Or I need to find a better place to find out about them? I've heard about Journey on PSN but that's about it, for XBLA or PSN games coming up.

I think the article is saying that it should have been in previous Activision Bond games and that it should be in all Bond games, not just for the supposed casuals of Wii.

They are right to say they wanted to get a new engine and do it up nice for the HD consoles though, so fair enough.
