Agreed. Going multiplat hurt the production and presentation of this game too much for me to warrant a day 1 purchase. I see DLC being rained down upon us after the debut of all the cut material from the game.
What, you guys never housed through SF without taking any damage and then played 10 consecutive rounds against Bison without taking or dishing any damage?......Noobs /s
Can't wait to take that Tues. off of work. GoW III all day baby!
no the something wrong is your grammar. you need a classroom. Your interpretation of wannabe is wrong by the way. It's meant as an insult you dolt. Your Arnold accent is still lackluster and lame.
That was probably one of the most poorly written, boring and least informative opinion articles I've ever read on N4G. And if this author thinks that "sales determine the winner" then he can GTFO.
@hay
Yea, the man is obviously a wannabe seeing as he created one of the best gaming franchises of the last decade and millions of people have played his games. Nice logic/s....... and your Arnold accent sucks.
I hope new gameplay elements are thrown in. Halo gameplay imho feels stale and last gen. I would love a decent cover system (ala KZ2) over pop and shoot gameplay.
Agreed. Stop being stupid fanboys, get a decent job and you can play ALL the good games. PS3 has its share, 360 has its share. I wish I could hadouken fanboys into oblivion through my computer monitor, they disgust me.
I hope MOH can deliver a more "Counterstrike" feel than the arcady MW2. Only time will tell however...
Wholeheartedly agree. After trudging through the demo, I came away feeling like a high D, lower C game was just played.
Of course it will live up to the hype. I thoroughly enjoyed GoW 1 & 2, plus I had a huge s*** eating grin on my face the entire time I played the new demo. Yes, it's more of the same with some new gameplay mechanics but imho, why fix what is so perfectly executed.
Wow, a game must be really bad for it to suck extinct animal testicles. 40th Day loses with time travel fallaccio!
Well played sir, well played indeed
@ Raiinstorm 81
Couldn't agree more. My buddy and I came away from the 40th Day demo underwhelmed and it certainly didn't sell us on the game. The demo is pretty much the full 1st chapter keep in mind which is a substantial portion for a demo. Darksiders on the other hand is a great game imho. Does it borrow from many great game franchises? Yes. Does it still stand on it's own and offer a great gameplay experience? Absolutely. It's a mature zelda. Nothing wrong with th...
I don't think anyone will be paying for this. They will probably have it unlocked for the next update. If anyone remembers, Mosh Pit game mode was not available launch day, but a day or 2 after.
Yea, this demo really didn't sell me on the game at all. I was disappointed with the way on foot combat was handled. What's up with that generic and single animated melee move? It felt all wrong. The guns also lacked the "punch" and reminded me of Army of Twos weapons. There are way too many high end games coming out in the next few months to worry about this game.
You are certainly entitled to your opinion and whatever types of games you like. I think you were too quick to judge such an awesome and technically near-perfect set of games however.
For instance, I hate RPGs. But, FFVII, FFVIII, FFX and Vagrant Story are some of my all time favorite games which I revisit every so often just to experience them.
GoW 1 and 2 accomplished some of the best graphics, gameplay and story telling of any games last generation. To call it a "mindless boring and repetitive bashing of monsters" is very ignorant and you obviously didn't have the patience to realize the ins and outs of possibly the most fluid combat system next to DMC3. You could spam the attack button like any game or you could take the time and energy to realize that Kratos can string together timed attacks and dodges, which accumul...
Wow, this game looks fantastic. Watching this I couldn't help get nostalgic over playing the much underrated Indigo Prophecy.
Yea a good buy all around. The PS3 version does look and perform much better than the 360 version. A very fun and satisfying game though.
