Good. I hope Reach can spice things up for me. Halo imo is bland and last gen compared to other FPSs out at the moment.
Getting into E3 is hard?. I've been doing it for years under a website my friends and I created but never launched, just pay the registration. So anyone can go even though it's technically not open to the public. And while I respect HHG for putting himself out there, he is not a true "journalist" in the sense of the word. A journalist displays information in a objective way with facts, allowing for the reader to infer their own conclusions. HHG provides opinion pieces, nothing ...
This article is a whine fest and complaining about campers has been noob talk since the days of Counterstrike. It's very easy to either kill campers or completely avoid them in MW2. It's your own fault if you blow a gasket and keep running into the same position which is being covered by an enemy. Learn some tactics for christsakes.
Unnecessary hate imho. With development costs drastically rising for current gen games, DLC will be much more prevelant up until the end of this console era. Personally, $5 or $10 dollars is not a lot of dough and I will gladly pay it if it extends the life a game that I enjoyed.
This is absolutely unacceptable. Call of Doody indeed.
Eh, article was sorta funny. Has anyone seen the redone clip of that girl getting decked in the face accompanied by street fighter music and sfx? If not google it, very funny indeed. Hitting girls is wrong though, even when it's effing hilarious.
Looks very bad ass. Can't wait to play this day 1.
Sorry HHG, that trailer looks absolutely awful. Good to see your terrible tastes extend to all media and aren't just confined to video games.
Never came a across Nuke boosters yet. I'm happy to say I've killed my fair share of shield boosters however. Camping and legitimately nuking go hand in hand. After all of the matches I've played, I find it next to impossible that someone can effectively maneuver around a map and get 25 kills without dying. Without camping the nuke would be impossible and there in lies the problem.
So much effing money! The game is very fun.....with 2 players max. Any more than that punches and controllers will be thrown, I guarantee it.
I can't wait to care even less after it debuts. Natal just seems like it is destined for the bargain bin unless some kind of stellar "hardcore" games are developed for it. I would love to see some rich gameplay come E3 of someone wrecking house in Gears 2 using Natal or slinking around as Sam Fisher in SC:Conviction, but I feel this will never happen let alone a great new IP for the peripheral. I usually have the "don't judge until it's out" mentality but I just feel un...
All the devs need to do is re-create Aliens with a some more action set pieces and I would be very happy.
@mastiffchild
Made a lot of good points and well said. It does seem that this generation of console gamers is much more bias and quick to point the finger at a fellow gamer. Ah how I miss the glory days of the Genesis/SNES b***h fests.
YAY! Just let loose a big ol' Howard Dean Beeeeeyyyyarrrhhhggggggg!
Open Zone asks: Whatcha Sellin Stranga!
Fine with me. I wouldn't want my company having anything to do with a country that supports extreme censorship, the degradation of individualism and communism to begin with.
Uncharted 2, GoW 3, Heavy Rain, FF13, GT5 and KZ3(when they debut) made me get a PS3, not MAG. Played the beta and didn't care for it much. To those that like the style and presentation, enjoy.
Are you kidding me? Galaxy was the epitome of platforming perfection. It was impossible to play that game without a huge smile on your face.
I remember a time where I was worried a game was being pushed back. Now I see it as a good sign that devs are trying to correct imperfections and deliver the best quality product they can. Hopefully the extra 3 months can fix whatever needs to be.
@Guido
Damn right, Quake III Arena for the DC was the epitome of fun. Online play was a blast for such a craptastic modem too. In regards to Reach and Halo in general, I could care less. The games bore me.
