You show an ok vid to set expectations low, than show the real version to blow people's minds.
It's the reverse of Ubi's strategy- show a really great looking game and than show people it was fake and give them a crappier looking version.

2. It's dragged out, boring, and I rather know what other characters are up to, like Orichimaru. I don't care what part of the story we are at- it's boring.

Industry made this an issue, let the industry deal with the problem it has caused.
And to be quite frank the only reason this is even an issue now, beside the industry making this an issue, is due to cost. Games are $60 dollars plus tax in a sh!t poor economy, and you're lucky these days to get a game that's 80% complete due to pieces being broken off by publishers to sell back to gamers. So yeah, paying full price for a game that's not complete, bug riddled, and ...

This reminds me when Prince of Persia decided to go dark back in the day, and that didn't work out to well for them. Uncharted shouldn't be dark for the sake of being dark- I play Uncharted for Drake not a Nolan Batman wannabe.
And If I have to go through more of those horrendous hand to hand fights and horribly over scripted action events like I did in Uncharted 3, I'm probably going to hold off on it.
You're right. Games shouldn't be shoe-horned into the fall season. In case people haven't realized it, we have 12 months in the year. Jan., Feb,March, or April will be just fine.
