If the PS3 didn't have any life yet and the PS4 could do the simple things I need a PS3 for, like watch my downloaded videos on the media player or listen to mp3's, I might have jumped at this.
I'd consider " not having played Witcher 1 & 2" as a reason to not buy it. I don't game on PC and never will, and if Xbox can get Witcher 2 PS4 should be able to get it too. I'm not going into a third game without playing the stuff before it.
IMO, Uncharted 3 sucked. So being made by Nd doesn't mean much.

Back in my day we didn't suck the c*ck of gaming corporations, nor were we parrots for them. If they f*cked up we told them, if they screwed us we let them know, and if necessary we crucified them.
But these days the younger generation likes to tow the corporate line, screw themselves over for their "masters,"
and call everyone else with half of a brain that stands up for themselves spoiled. If gaming truly ends it will be due to the younger generation ...

1.Jesus is made the head of Nintendo and Iwata is replaced.
2. Nintendo is going into cellphone games with ip's that are neglected and forgotten by Nintendo itself so as to build recognition for them , but banning Link and Mario from ever being on cellphones.
3. Nintendo shows the next LOZ without pulling a Space World switch-a-roo. Stops being stubborn and give people the mature/graphically impressive Zelda they want.

I can't talk for Pearce but Alex Mercer wasn't boring and had great potential due to inner conflict and "identity" issues. Had we followed up on him rather than "gruff black guy there only because he's black," we'd have a Prototype 3.
