Can you play this DLC without the game, like Infamous or Red Dead did, or do you have to have the game to play it?
It's a lot easier to give it to EA than the companies you think deserve it- those companies have advertising money they can cut or the ability to fight back, EA however doesn't.

No, a great deal of developers were down right lazy compared to the golden age of gaming. It's nice that the PS4 and Xbone are easier to develop for, the lazy developers now have training wheels/a crutch they can lean on now. But on a whole it's not good for gaming, because this laziness breeds mediocrity.

Morality became laughable, stupid, by the time you hit the second game. There's no way mass genocide of a particular group of people can ever be considered good, and both good and bad endings had genocide so not really seeing a difference between good or bad choices in 2.
And when you compare Infamous to the Witcher's morality system both Infamous 1 & 2 are laughable. Even with that said though, I'm interested in checking out Second Sons and seeing if they lea...
They kept renewing the patent so no one else can have it, that's it. They could give a rats ass about that game cause their precious Japanese probably don't give a damn about that game. I hope the patent does go out so someone else can make the game. a sequel to Eternal Darkness is long over due.

If you're not going to buy it, at least rent it. The beginning is really slow, but stick with ti cause it will get better.

I don't see why they don;t pay for games as it is. Since they are a business they can write it off, and it would make them kiss developers asses far less. But that's never going to happen, they are going to continue being salesmen and kiss asses instead of actual reviewers till the end.

Bout time. I hated how last gen everything was multiplat. Every console needs 1st and 3rd party exclusives so that you can see what each console is capable of, and why you need whichever console it is. Exclusives makes console wars fun.
When PS4 can play videos I downloaded or mp3's again like my PS3 can do right now, and when there are no more games I want to play on my PS3- then and only then will I unplug the PS3 and buy a PS4. Till then it's staying plugged in.
Yeah, Riley being black feels more PC than actually necessary.
