Amazing, the amount of free games I have taken off Live alone has made up the difference in prices. Its been an awesome machine and its only getting better.
The gamers not interested in BC clearly show they dont love there old games or that there games have no replay value. Not everyone wants to have there previous console plugged in, like myself I have no room. 1 console that can play 2 generations of games is better then 1 console that can only play 1 generation of games.

I agree 100%. How can you win E3 if your showing off the same games that everyone else will be playing. This is why I never understood the COD games for Xbox. Everyone can play them yet I am not sure why its considered ammunition. The winners are the games that are only available on that console.

It shouldn't matter, soon both consoles will be cheap enough to own both. If you really want that PS Tomb Raider feeling then buy it on PC and use your DS4 controller.
To eliminate screen tearing takes up a lot of system performance and I would gladly choose a game with no screen tearing with a little more slow downs then one that does.
Its no surprise that the X1 slows down more if it eliminates screen tearing.
Games that screen tear are broken games in my opinion. No game should screen tear period.

PC gaming and Console gaming is different. Even if there are people with powerful PCs, both PC and X1 offer different experiences. A console gamer would never touch a PC, I have mates that just dislike it and will easily choose an inferior looking game over it.

Why do gamers feel the need to hate on something that basically has no effect on there own game? Big whoop, you can buy online items for real money, what games today don't do that? As long as its not game breaking. I am sure in Halo 5 there are MP game modes that don't allow the use of online items. Play the game mode that doesn't allow it. Problem solved.

This is great news, I can now retire my 360, freeing up a power socket and room on my bench. A lot of people underestimate the importance of BC. This is such a great feature, not only does it allow you to play your old games but it also adds a giant boost to your gaming library. You can now purchase 2nd hand 360 games and play them on your X1 with no extra cost and dirt cheap game prices. Now the X1 looks a lot more appealing to the mass market.

Its not about outselling each other, its about selling consoles. Both PS4 and XB1 are selling well and both E3s will only continue to grow these platforms. MS don't care if there 2nd as long as there making money, just like if Sony were 2nd. Its a business that requires profits to stay in. Its not the super bowl, there's no prize for finishing 1st on sales. Never was because if that was the case then Steam would kill the competition.
This sounds like Sony defending the point MS threw a punch and Sony didn't know how to block it. They researched, invested and built a paid Streaming service and MS countered it very well. Judging from the crowds reactions they did it VERY WELL.

By far the best feature seen at E3 since next gen launched. A free way to play all your old games is exactly what the industry needs. Companies can move past the Remaster stage and focus on bigger and better things since now your old games you paid top dollar for can sill be used.

Forza is a racing Sim, its been the best racing Sim for the past decade, Forza Horizon is an Arcade racer and if you play both, you can clearly tell the difference. I guess you haven't, I have and I am a racing fan and I play all types of Sims including GT and PC and FM is a racing sim.
