You know making games on PC actually brings in more profit then it does with consoles. There is no access fees and rights when making games on PC which is why there sold cheaper in the first place. Piracy is a thing of the past with PC gaming, with services like Battle.Net and Steam you cant simply pirate games anymore. Some of the best selling games are on PC, look at Half-Life and Diablo 3 sales.
Also if they develop the games on PC they can have a wider audience and porti...

You do realize that as PC gains a lot of Xbox exclusives, Xbox gains a lot of PC exclusives. Its a two way street and that's what MS want, they want to merge there libraries with all there devices.
That's not very nice to say. Sorry if I find these type of articles useless and boring. I don't like reading up on how good mud looks in a game, I would actually like to hear more about the game in general rather then "Nice grass" I am looking forward to UC4 but the way its going, it feels like the same mistakes every other game is going for, visual focus. ND have a good track record but so does GG, Sucker Punch, Evolution, Ready at Dawn and most of there other studios, and ...
Console gaming isn't exactly profitable and is very hard to keep up with the industry. If you think Sony is laughing why don't you ask them how much they spent trying to make the PS4 and how much they make on there console hardware. Selling more doesn't always mean making more money. Its like shopping for groceries, if the company loses $1 on every milk carton and customers don't buy anything else then they lose heaps of money. Console hardware is the same, if the software doe...
People who buy Consoles are different to people who buy PCs. The casual market would still prefer Xbox even though the games are similar on PC. Only the hardcore market will consider PC and Console gaming and the hardcore market is only a small portion of the gaming industry.
In other words, PC gaming doesn't effect console sales, because no one is going to plug there gaming rig into the lounge room TV and game off it, not when you have a X1 that can replace your Blu-Ray ...
After this generation I see big movements in the console industry. I see Nintendo, MS and Sony providing services across the PC market. Not everyone will own a Console and a gaming PC and the PC gaming market is too much to be missing out on. You can still sell hardware and sell your games on PC. They don't conflict.
Seems as if all the articles are based on UC4's visuals instead of the story plot or gameplay. Most next gen games are going to look outstanding in 2016, but honestly how about some articles explaining what's happening to Drake and his surroundings and enemies instead of looking at the mud and grass..
If you want to see good grass then Crysis 3 on PC looked just as good and its last gen.
Interesting..
I agree, I couldn't get into it. Alien Swarm is a lot better, should try that.
Only $29..
If you actually read the articles. Games have to be built from the ground up for DX12 to benefit from. And wtf are you talking about DX12 isnt released yet. Until Windows 10 is out I wouldn't be downplaying it yet. Batmans lead platform is the PS4 not X1.
Great man for this industry, not just for Xbox.
Its sold for a good price on Steam now and considering it will most likely be patched would mean great value plus future proof hardware.
Games aren't about the visuals, one thing Tomb Raider is good for is about the emotions of a character that goes though hell and back trying to survive. Its not like the game looks bad, the game still looks impressive. It has a good chance of being 2015 GOTY.
The sad part is a lot of Uncharted fans actually liked Tomb Raiders gameplay last gen and in many cases said it was better. Now all of a sudden every one throws a blind eye to the game pretending the game is bad and...
Its not the fact PS4 is lacking exclusives, its the lack of Blockbusters for 2015. Exclusives doesn't make a game good, PC has most exclusives yet that doesn't mean there good quality or what gamers want. Its good to have variety but all consoles have variety. I think the problem is gamers accept anything with exclusive on it rather then accept just good games in general.
PS4 has a great line up of exclusive Blockbusters in 2016 but 2015 offers many exclusives but th...
I don't think either thump each other. Both completely different stories and both offer great gameplay. If we are only talking graphics then ok sure UC4 looks better, visuals never determine how good a game is. One is also a 2015 title while the other is 2016.
These articles are really showing insecurity, they only exist because TR is a timed exclusive. TR wouldn't be getting picked on if it wasnt timed so instead of praising TR let's put it down until its availa...
These articles wont exist if this game was releasing on all formats. Goes to show the down players still exist and thrive off jealously. The game looked great and if TR is anything like the 1st one, then its going to be amazing.
Poor mans Uncharted? Ask around, a lot of Uncharted fans actually preferred Tomb Raider over Uncharted 3 so that tells you something. Game looks fine and many are looking forward to playing it soon.
Its a little too late to bring this game up to speed. FM6 is coming out soon and from what iv read about that game, PC is going to be dated very quickly.
Lets have a look at console value. Both sell for $399 and one can play two libraries of games while the other cant. One you can sell your old console while the other you cant. BC isn't a important feature. It should be a standard feature across all systems. After all these consoles are sequels of there previous models. I would hate Steam if I couldn't play my old games, just like I would hate Xbox if I couldn't play my old games.
Not only does BC allow you to pla...
