There's a bit of a difference between what we are talking about here. DX12 if a feature not being used by Xbox which is what it was designed to do from the beginning, where as the PS4 has been using its API from launch. PS4 will improve and no one is denying that however there's a complete difference between upgrading your API and not using it in the first place.

Two completely different games. Mad Max fans wont be buying MGS5 over it same goes for MGS5 fans wont be buying Mad Max over MGS5. Same goes with TB and FO4.

I am a PC gamer, I couldn't care less about consoles. Not in the same way these fans on N4G make it. I enjoy games, not console brands.
COD belongs on the PC in my opinion, I have the entire collection on Steam and I will be buying BO3 on PC as well.
Look me up on Steam and I will show you a library of games that I invest my time into. That's not even including my Battle.net, Origin accounts etc.

The problem with your comment Ashlen is your basing games off brands. Minecraft is still as awesome as it ever was and if anything MS is allowing the game to grow even bigger. Just because I am not Japanese doesn't mean I have to hate there stuff. What this guy did is his opinion which I think if his upset then he should donate to charity. At the end of the day its better to be high up then low down.
A PC port would be nice, running this at 60 would be great. I just played Zombi on Steam and what a difference 60 makes for horror games.
Considering the games coming out this year like Tomb Raider, and Halo 5 around the corner, 400+ hours might be too much, it all depends on the gamer. I would play it until I finish it but I will be moving on quick because I would like to play other great games this year. 400+ hours is ok if your bored and there's nothing else to buy but this holiday there's too much to buy.

Selling more doesn't mean its more successful. PS3 cost Sony a lot more then what the 360 cost MS. From what I recall the PS3 was almost double the 360s cost price. It was close to 4 billion compared to the 360s 2.5 billion RnD. Not only did the PS3 fail to return Sony the profits, the 360 had Live subscribers thought out the 8 years of release which was generating major profits.

How is this news? Both Sony and MS lost money last gen on Hardware aswell. It only takes 1 subscription and its profitable. Also doesn't Sony source there machine from China? Isnt that why the build quality is cheap?
Considering Tomb Raider is the biggest its ever been and Halo 5 is doing things never seen in Halo games before, I would highly suggest these games COULD be GOTY contenders. After all there 2 of the biggest franchises in the gaming world. MGSV is going to be hard to beat but Meta scores never determine GOTYs. GTAV kills TLOU in Meta scores yet TLOU won more GOTYs.
Tomb Raider, Fallout 4, Witcher 3 and Halo 5 all have very good chances. MGSV is going to be hard to beat but there is competition.
Does it really matter is a game is exclusive? If the game is good and you want to play it, and you prefer PC gaming then buy a PC, if you prefer to play them on a Console then buy an XB1. The problem with gamers today is that word Exclusive means more then the actual quality of the games themselves.

It doesn't take Rocket science to realize your angry. MS have been supporting Steam since the day Steam was created. Windows and Steam are the perfect gaming combo. Also MS released 2 Halo games on Steam, Spartan Assault and Spartan Strike, if that's not showing enough support giving a competitive app your primary franchise mascot then nothing will. That's not including all the MS games already available on Steam.

Your opinion is different to mine. I play good games, I don't hold grudges against corporations. If its good ill play it. I love Steam and but there's nothing wrong with Microsofts Windows App or Xbox.

Is this really what gamers think? From what iv seen there are more blockbuster games out and coming out for XB1 at the moment. Sony have more smaller games that are PC/PS4 exclusives like most of the Indie and PC ports but if your looking on the 1st party front, I see MS having the bigger games in 2015 and they did in 2014 as well and 2016 doesn't look like there slowin...
For gamers who love online multiplayer then I would say yes. Those who don't wont make a difference.
So what gets me is if Gears is the same game but only better gets a poor review yet I am sure Uncharted Collection will get 9s and both devs spent a fair effort in the visual departments only.
Its going to be very interesting to see how these reviews go with future remasters. I just played Gears and a 4 is laughable.
PS4 is 50% faster, that's what GDDR5 ram is, its faster graphic ram not more powerful, the PS4 is probably only 20% more powerful then the X1. And apart from X1s improvements with DX12 it might be even less if DX12 lives up to its name and makes the X1 a lot more optimised then the PS4s.
That said both consoles are going though improvements which is always a good thing for gamers.
