Not sure if I agree with this review or GiantBombs. Do they not count the fact this game offers incredible value and its a 9+ year old game. This isn't Gears 4, and for the price I say this game as a complete package is way above what they claim. There only opinions so I don't let them get to me. The game sits on a 82 meta and if you exclude GiantBombs incredibly bad review score the game sits on a 85 meta which sounds about right.
Its amazing, I am loving it, still to todays standards Gears still offers the best cover system seen in gaming. I honestly am shocked at some of the reviewers. This game is an 8/10 in my book. Its better then the first in all areas. I think Reviewers have Gears 4 on there mind and not judging the game off its merits. Its 10 years old, its value is up there with the best etc.
I am not here to debate with you. I have been in the gaming industry all my life, I can tell you that Xbox have a lot more then just those 4 exclusives. Am I lying? Sony and MS have games to counter there each other eg - Killzone vs Halo, GT vs Forza, Crack Down vs Infamous etc
Both consoles revolve around 3rd party games, there 1st party line ups are basically the same style games on there counter systems.
For the record MS own 22 gaming studios vs Sonys 12 ...

Forza Horizon 2 got a lower score then DriveClub so they dont favor MS either.
So games like Rares Replay (30 games not on PS) Sea of Thieves, Ori, Recore, D4, Qauntum Break, Tomb Raider and many others aren't counted?
I am a PC gamer and I can tell you both Xbox and Sonys game libraries are very similar. Exclude all the PC and Indie ports and both consoles are the same.
If you think Xbox only has Halo, Gears, Forza and Fable then I suggest you buy one. There is a lot more you dont know about.

The same can be said directly to your comment. However we aren't talking about rehashes, we ARE talking about new experiences no one has played before. Halo 5 is nothing like Halo 4, and those who think so, I feel sorry for them. 3rd party is also big this year but 3rd party is also on XB1 and that's the problem with the line-up of the PS4. Its best games aside from Uncharted Collection is available on the X1 like Fallout 4, MGS5, Star Wars BF etc.

Gears is a proper remake, everything has been improved with next gen standards. UC collection has been improved but not at the same level.
Take to account most of last gen games are also dirt cheap and pre-owned copies are also steals. Its not like you have to spend a lot to purchase old 360/PS3 games.

Do you always think these things are done just so they can outsell the PS4? Not everything is about PS4. BC is to help the current 360 owners to move to XB1, PS4 has nothing to do with this. COD still sells best on the 360 which tells you something, there's still a large market of gamers playing on 360 today. 2016 is going to be the strongest year for the PS4 since launch, but that's not the problem, there 2015 lineup seems to be lacking unless your a Japanese gamer or love Japanese games.

This isn't about exclusives, its about 1st party and lets be honest, Sony has only released 1 game that's had better reviews then Xbox 1st party and that's Bloodborne. If you want to include PC ports and Indies that's fine however there not made by Sony and there not 1st party.

The detail was the first thing I saw. Look at the road. These aren't the greatest pictures to be comparing but even bad photos like this still show massive differences.

I am not against companies improving on other companies ideas, I do disapprove those who claim them being innovative and not respecting the original companies ideas in the first place. Its not really innovating its more improving.
