Smart idea. Halo 1 and 2 released on PC and it didn't effect Xbox in any way. It promotes Xbox Live and the Halo Franchise. The more gamers playing Halo the better it is for MS and Xbox. Ill still play it on Xbox because of the two different communities.
Give MS your money.
Game looks amazing and at 60 frames I wont be complaining. Those not happy with the visuals need to understand that games running at 60 frames aren't suppose to be ground breaking in terms of visuals. They also need to stop looking at little things and focus on the main points in Halo, its Gameplay, Features and Story are its bread and butter.
Like iv stated before Its easy to make a good looking game at 30 frames, its harder to make a good looking game at 60. Halo 5 look...
Undertale GOTY
Of course Cloud Tech can go multiplat. If the company has a multi billion dollar online infrastructure or plans on paying an arm and a leg to rent the servers.
So a 3 year dev circle and a Beta that came out months ago is a rushed job?
From what I have seen, 343 have more soul for us gamers then any dev I have seen lately. Halo 5 is a package worth every cent unlike EA with Battlefront or Bungie with Destiny that aren't complete games at launch and sold at a much higher cost for less content.
What's Naughty Dog quality? TR on 360/PS3 looked better then Uncharted so I am sure this new TR isn't going to be any less of a quality game. Remember Rise of the Tomb Raider is also a 360/PS3 game and is releasing in 2015 unlike UC4 which is a 2016 title and PS4 only.
CD can easily do what UC4 is doing if they decided to go down that path, the difference is they didn't and are choosing to stratify gamers on 2 generations and not one.
Nothing agai...
Still got mine, sitting in its box in the garage. Amazing system and still works, unlike the cheap plastic we get today.
Half Life is granted one of the best video games in video game history. 1 and 2 revolutionised the FPS and games in general. If you haven't played it then I suggest you do. Grab Steam and download Black Mesa (Half Life 1 remake)
That's the thing I'm afraid of. If Sony are pushing most of there 1st parties to develop games on PS VR and I am hoping PS VR isn't the big thing Sony are showing at Paris.
Sorry I am not a VR fan, that tech does not interest me.
Sorry disagree. I am a huge Halo fan, iv played all Halo games including the Spartan games, I own the figurines and the novels and I was like many Halo fans in the past played local Co-Op back before Broad Band was even common.
There is no need to have your friends next to you to play Halo 5. Its a big waste of time implementing it when they can focus on the Live structure which gives you the exact same experience only better because you don't need to share your TV. I now...

Were you around last generation? Nintendo's Wii was crown one of the most successful Nintendo systems ever made and it was by far the least powerful. That was only a few years ago. Power isn't everything.
Compare the 3DS and Vita sales, another underpowered system outselling a more powerful system.
WiiU isn't doing well but that's not because of its Hardware.
Lumia's are great phones, ill be buying the new 950. Thanks for your thoughts.
This is probably the best news iv heard come from EA for years. Glad there not going with the cash grab remakes. Focus on newer and better ideas.
Perfect time for MS to buy AMD out before they become bankrupt and disappear forever.
The kids can still party up and play online. People act like there removing co-op completely which is funny and sad.
Don't bring back split screen. Its a waste of resources. Those crying for it probably don't even play Halo. There will be a time where your friends grow up and barely come around anymore which makes the feature worthless. Focus on the solo and online, that future proofs the game. Ill be voting no split screen in Halo 6.
@Christopher
Its not always about the visuals that makes a game great. Halo 5 looks like a decent next gen game with its visuals, sure its no Ryse but we are forgetting the other important elements that make great games great. Story Telling, Gameplay, Lasting Appeal, AI, Features, Multiplayer etc
All those categories I mentioned above looks like Halo 5 is living up to. Those are the most important things I want from Halo 5. I don't want another Crysis 3, I want a ...
Considering its coming out after Halo 5, it lost my interest. Which is a pity because I did enjoy the beta but H5 is offering a lot more for $60 and SW isn't. Ill probably pick it up cheap down the road on PC.
Looks amazing, this looks set to be one of the best games of 2015 and even maybe 2016. Looking forward to playing this baby.
You do know MS will still make money if its sold on PC right.
