With the increased number of ps3 sales and constantly declining price of hd format players, getting a hd player won't be the issue. The issue is when all broadcast television will become HD, so if people want to continue watching they'll need to purchase an HDTV. By the time that happens the players will be down to at least $300, easily affordable to the middle class family.

This won't last years. People in the U.S. are essentially gonna be forced into HD format in early 2009 whether they want to or not, its very possible that HD-DVD will die out before then. Their lack of exclusive studio support is crippling them in the market, it was also a brilliant move by Sony to include the format on the PS3; While its proven inconsequential so far for actual games, its been a deadly weapon for them against HD-DVD. Which format is superior is meaningless.
Studio support will make or break any movie format war, and Blu-ray is routing hd-dvd in that arena. That alone merits how one sided this conflict is now; Not to mention this only exists in the US, outside its all blu-ray.

The vote is neck and neck between Wii and PS3, teh 3 slightly with an edge. Man even the portables got trounced in this vote, I guess they didn't like all those lame portable megaman games.
Mega Man needs a 3d platformer like Rachet & Clank set in the "X" era, no doubt his greatest time. Good story and weapons plus Capcom's usual spit shine and you've got a AAA game for sure. Based on that voting too hopefully its PS3 exclusive :P

hdds usually come in 3.5, 2.5, and 1.8 inch sizes. 3.5 being desktop, 1.8 being what you would find in an ipod or most other mp3 players.
That the disc copy of the game comes bundled with a $40 Jabra headset. So you are getting your money's worth.

The drive read speed is comparable, especially on mastered discs like games.
