Why did you try to turn this into an anti-ps3 discussion? This is how HD-DVD is so outpaced in the US (the only market their is a format war, everywhere else hd-dvd is almost non existant), and how blu-ray is the exclusive format of choice for a vast majority of the movie industry. Not to mention having more players (whether they're independent or ps3s is inconsequential, its a means in which to play the format).

You can't stop blu-ray at this point. Even most sony haters can't deny this format war is already decided.
Why are people associating more freedom with less security? Sony just finished saying the other day they're gonna take a hard stance on those who try to ruin the online experience of others, especially when it comes to home. Its not Bnet people, their are rules.
Gears was also developed directly with Microsoft. Unreal Tournament is still Epic's flagship IP, designed primarily for PC play; PS3 simply provides more freedom to achieve the same as they did on the PC, as opposed to things like disc space and the online networks which will limit it on the 360 (not fanboyism, FACT that both of these are a problem with the 360 version).
It COULD do it, but MS hates mods man. Epic has been pleading with them for it on the 360 version of UT3 but they won't budge.

4500 lines of convo doesn't mean 4500 lines of spoken dialogue. KOTOR had tons and tons of conversation but most of it wasn't totally spoken.
Their is really no point in playing ps3 on a sd tv. Upgrade.
