Just beat it. Its a GREAT GAME! Very different from the normal fps and 3rd person shooter thats out right now. Which is a shame because thats the reason this probably wont sell. Its definitely not a game that can hook the mass market by just looking at it, you have to play to see why this game deserves a purchase. It is without a doubt the BEST game on the Vita so far.

My comment was a joke, hence the "lol." Smart Glass ISNT anything new, there are many apps that allow you to use a phone as a remote to control a device. Look at Apple Tv. Hell I can use my DroidX to control my Sony Blu-ray player. But do I use it? No. It just so happens that this device is the Xbox.

Just downloaded the game I bought the Vita for (Gravity Rush) and I'm not regretting it one bit. The best gaming experience aside from Journey and Mass Effect 3 I've had all year. If they keep pumping out unique tittles like this and make sure companies support their games with a spaced out dlc plan, like Escape Plan, the system will be fine. Looking forward to ACL in the fall.
Did it ever occur to you that maybe the combat system is really good? It is a game after all and maybe at a glance it looks cheesy and overly sexualized but did it ever occur to you that the "magic" that this game has is the gameplay? I think with all these AAA games with good graphics, intellectual storytelling, and elaborate trailers people forget the days when games were just about gameplay.
If all you're worried about are the achievements for the Xbox version just get the Ps3 version. Sure trophies aren't the same but the deciding factor should be how comfortable you are with the controller.
I usually decide which console I buy the game for on what genre it is. Shooters = Xbox (and fighting games cause all my friends have Xboxs and I have a fightstick anyways) ... everything else = Ps3 lol.

Gravity Rush is so appealing to Vita owners because its something NEW. A NEW IP. No disrespect to MSG HD Collection but those games are old and most of us have probably already beat those games, multiple times. Heck even the HD collection is old since the console versions came out last year. As someone who bought a Vita I want NEW games, EXCLUSIVELY for my NEW system. Not only that but Gravity Rush is different. From a stylistic sense and from the fact that its not another shooter.

People don't like change. Even if its clearly a spin-off. Someone messing with their beloved franchise makes them mad. Funny. We can complain about how Call of Duty is the same every year but when a game seems just a bit different in franchises like Final Fantasy or Metal Gear, people lose it.
I for one am extremely excited for this game. Just beat Bayonetta and am now working on Vanquish. Both great games and thus I have complete faith in Platinum Games.
As someone who romanced Liara the extended cut was a great download. The two extra goodbye scenes really nailed it. I had no real problems with the original ending and two problems I did have, Squadmates on the Normandy and Anderson at the Citadel, were addressed. Sure this Extended Cut isn't perfect, I thought the second half where it basically turns into a slideshow was lazy but its free so I can't complain.
