You can clearly tell when the player is actually given control. In this demo its the 1st person ghost sections where you can mess around with people and when Jody is running in the train and in the forest. Just look at her animations, its not a fluid as a QTE specific cut-scene.
Very interesting, especially in regards to having the player control Jody running in the forest while pressing QTE prompts to avoid tree branches. I can see the QTE adding the "panic" experi...
I put Assassin's Creed 1 on hold when it first came out.. bad mistake. I'm so glad that AC3 and this Vita title are so "new" I honestly don't care about playing catch-up with the series anymore. This and Gravity Rush are finally gonna get me to take my Vita seriously. C'mon October 30th!!
12 free games. I'm so glad I renewed my subscription.
If MGSR is anything like Bayonetta than yes, it will be better than NG3. The amount of style and combos in Beyonetta was so amazing. Counters needed great timing and action was so faced paced, its still the best action game in this generation in terms of gameplay (in my opinion). Now the only problem is the story. Beyonetta's story was okay because it fit the game, quirky and funny but nothing too serious. Lets hope for MGSR P* steps up their story telling.
no dualshock at all huh? i prefer that over any other controller. in my opinion it has the best d-pad.
I could've sworn i read that Re6 takes place 11 years after Racoon City and Re5 took place 12 years after. Oops lol
yeap or overly sexualized and bad ass. the gaming world is full of extreme opposites. lol.
Are they on-disc DLC? lol
In all seriousness I'd love to see Jill in this. But being before Resident Evil 5 wouldn't that mean she'd still be with Wesker? Oh well I got Ada :)
yes because a spin-off tittle is supposed to have the same feel as the main games right? Speaking of which did you see some of the crap Raiden did in MGS4? It wasn't too different from what your seeing here. This game will kick ass, platinum games know what they're doing.
This is what the Vita needs. New IPs. This better hit stateside! This is my second most anticipated game for my Vita with Gravity Rush being first :)
Its always fascinating when people complain about how a new game in a franchise doesn't look or "feel" like it's predecessors yet they complain about Call of Duty. There's no happy middle ground for anyone. If developers try to do something new, "fans" backlash and say its too different but if they keep doing the same thing its labeled as a cash grab.
With an Xbox (Elite model) and a Wii your left with $850... thats not much of a high end PC. Heck most i7's are around $300 then you gotta add a gpu, some ram etc.etc... why is being a gamer so expensive? lol. But i feel your pain, I'm still in college too and $1,300 doesn't even cover a semester :/
Thats correct. Most females in fighting games are "rush-down" characters with huge combo potential and mix-up abilities. Makoto, Cammy, Ibuki and Sakura all fit that category in SF4.
Cammy ftw.
Genghis, in what post did he say Witcher 2 was a bad game on the 360? All he said was that the PC version LOOKS better...
In every other team based game (Halo, Smash Bros., Team Fortress etc.) you get ambushed all the time, its a natural part of the gameplay. Thats the whole point of having other people with you.. you know... to work as a team.
I agree with you that Sony Santa Monica isn't stupid and even if I'll mainly play the single player, I'm sure multiplayer will be awesome too.
Should've been a launch title :/
Been playing my Vita here and there. Escape Plan is the only Vita game I have and with the new update I've picked it back up. Aside from that I've been replaying Disgaea 2. I really want Gravity Rush thats the game that made me buy a Vita when I played the demo at Bestbuy.
Heres to hoping E3 will bring more unique tittles to this awesome handheld. It wouldn't hurt to release the PsOne Classic support either.
Weird cause didn't Valve love Sony for having an open system? Hense Steamworks on Ps3 Portal 2
Some unique JRPGs on that list. Ni No Kuni is a definite buy but the other NIS titles look interesting. I already got Journey and its the best game I've ever played... ever. Other exclusives I'm looking forward to are Last of Us, Last Guardian and Sly. A good year for Ps3 and 3rd party games in general.
Lets just hope the Vita gets some love, aside from Gravity Rush they dont have much that interest me.
Don't worry. we get a virtual Ellen Page next year. The wait is gonna suck but we must endure!
