not as such, no. by adding more logic and being able to stack chipsets within chipsets, they've made it possible to do in a very small part of that thermometer what it nearly took half of it to do, so that is where some of the savings will come. also, the music sequencer can be used for level creation in some instances and that has it's own thermometer. this is why some of the levels take longer to load in.
exactly what i thought. the media are so keen on toppling Sony that they are even rebranding hardware in order to take yet another record from Sony. sorry, as much as i think the DS is fabulous and well worth a purchase, and as much as i can admire its sales, it ISN'T a console, it's a HANDHELD. what next, phones are consoles?

i'm the first to complain about Sony's advertising, but i can't complain about the way they are promoting LBP2. first we have the C5 sponsorship and now this! this is before we get any adverts. well done Sony, at last you realise the advantages over word of mouth
this sort of thing needs to stop. GT5 is a great game that got a little better than average reviews. some of those could have been slightly better if the reviewer had been good enough to get past level 20, but, alas, some just wanted to hate.
i noticed Heavy Rain getting some post bashing too. why does the media hate Sony so much? is it the high standards of their hardware? or perhaps the incredible exclusives that put multiplats to shame? it really is quite puzzling
play the game. get everything possible. watch every tutorial. wait 1 - 3 months and look at the community levels for inspiration
