Yeah, i understand, people like it and that's great for them. The games are good and they do great games. I, however, don't view it as a game changer. It's just a powerful handheld that outs to a tv.
It's a cool thing for Nintendo guys and newer, younger customers, but game changing? No. It's where handhelds were headed. Just like home consoles, each iteration gets more powerful. The only difference is that Nintendo calls this their console also.
Campaign was mediocre, although the last couple of levels had some great design. Multi was fun, but I actually liked the first one better. It felt more fluid to me, and the titans were a lot more balanced. All In all, not a bad game, but I was expecting a little more.
Really, I'm happy with some updates of shenmue, bloodstained, days gone and Spiderman. God of war is looking like a must have as well. Beyond that, it's icing on the cake.
Nah. Too many games out to invest in another console. If this came out in the first place, I may have gotten it. But as an iterative console, there's no need as the vanilla ones play the same games. Same with pro. My vanilla ps4 works just fine.
It's not complicated, but it is taking a risk. Some of the best games on Sony systems have been risks that have and have not payed off. Some are a slow burn that become favorites over time, some are instant classics. However, some of my favorite games of all time werent successful monetarily, but I am glad they took a risk and released them.
I'll pick this up on sale. I enjoyed the first one, but there are too many great games out. The curse of putting out a lot of great games in one year. Some get passed over.
This was great in 2004. I tried to play it a few months ago and was very bored with it. Great that they brought it to a modern console, but it needs a new chapter for sure.
