Sure, it's a great feature, but it's not going to a carve 360 as the "leader of this generation." If there really is a leader, it's still Nintendo. Maybe not in terms of raw power or features, but in terms of sales and innovation, it's Nintendo despite the wii's slow decline.
Nothing bad will happen to Sony in the long-run, I'm sure. Perhaps some short-term impact on sales and image may result, but that's all, I hope.

It could be possible that, with all of these PSN upgrades due to the outage, Sony really might start to charge for basic online play as well now. They're using up tons of man-power, resources, and costly work to rebuilt their PSN network and get it back up again. Also, it takes money to run PSN in the long-run. Sony can't just lose the potential money it could make on PSN pricing if it looks at how much Microsoft makes solely from Xbox Live.

Halo Reach wasn't called "Halo 4" for a reason, it's a prequel.
But, I'd definitely like to see the story continue. Maybe a new trilogy? Also, I hope the devs bring back some of Halo 3's multi-player gold...without armor abilities!!!
It has a pretty good chance, considering they've already started the marketing this early. My only concern is that there are way too many AAA games set to release later this year.
I just hope the next CoD doesn't see a release date until 2012.
