"The 360′s library is filled with minor, low quality exclusives."
Wow, I know it's his opinion, but that statement is just pure inaccurate. Sure, the exclusives may be fewer in number, but the exclusives are by no means "low quality."
"The Xbox 360 is missing exclusives with a charismatic and recognizable character." -- Um, Halo and Gears don't have "recognizable" characters??
Well, that's pretty sweet. Playing uncharted on the toilet should be epic indeed. :)
Wow, that looks peaceful.
Lol, now they have something to disagree on with your "brainless twits" comment.
Just jk..
Anyways, one of my main reasons for loving the forza franchise is the customization. It's addicting.
@beavis4play
The author is talking about the speedy and satisfying manner in which MS is currently handling the errors that are disrupting the few users who have downloaded the preview firmware update, not the "RRoD fiasco."
Did you even watch the video or read the comments in depth? Yes, MS's handling of the rrod situation was mediocre, but that's not what the author is discussing here.
Well, the fact that MS keeps rolling out updates that disrupts the hackers is still laudable, even if the hackers can squirm their way out each time.
No gears 3 boxart?
It's pretty epic.
lol @ your "this is good to hear from Sony" line.
@Eddie20101
User, I'm not denying at all the amount of space the blu-ray disc provides to developers and I'm not labeling anyone here as a fanboy of any console. I'm simply trying to convey that, despite this improvement in the 360 hardware, some individuals like btk will find ways to bash MS anyways. It's an improvement, it's not harming anyone, it's simply improving space issues, though it may not be by a considerable amount, for all developers. Why not ju...
Wow, this is an unexpected response from Sony.
Anyways, I'm playing LA Noire on my slim 360 and I've had no problems yet. God, the music is incredible in this game!
I use the feature almost everyday as I jump into an online match of a game. However, when I'm playing campaign, I like it better off, with the exception of forza and gta.
Haha, that's just sad.
If you release a product, you better be prepared to receive some negative press along with the good.
@MrBeatdown
Yes, I agree with you with what you're saying. The author should have mentioned that the scope and manner of the issue should have a profound effect on how a company is able to readily handle the issue and communicate the problem to their customers.
At above, yes, I understand that too. I'm not trying to take sides here, I'm just simply trying to convey what the author is attempting to communicate to the online community because so many ind...
Wow, what is up with the disagrees here...?
I get 4 disagrees for saying I'll miss the beta??
Yeah, that makes sense..
I think the author is emphasizing the way microsoft is able to swiftly handle and communicate the error that very few beta testers are experiencing and how they are able to quickly provide a solution to the problem. Here, it's by providing a free xbox 360 replacement console. Also, beta testers were warned prior to giving their consent for the 360 to accept the preview update that certain errors, some unforeseen, could surface.
The author is trying to compare the manner...
I really don't get your comment. Greywuld was acknowledging that the PC version is clearly the superior in the sense that it will boast up to 64 players online, in contrast to consoles' 24 player limit online.
Anyways, I doubt DICE is completely ignoring the console versions as you're implying. Both DICE and EA know that the majority of the sales will stem from the consoles and the minority from the PC version. The console footage will probably have limits an...
You having fun trolling?? Well, your one-bubble explains it.
Anyways, 1 GB may not seem a whole lot to you or to the majority of consumers, but it means tons to developers who want to squeeze in a little bit more content to their games. Yes, ps3 has blu-ray with tons of space, I'm not going to deny that, but this is microsoft trying to improve their hardware in the current gen by working with what they currently have to help out the developers by giving them a little mo...
Jeez, that map looks epic.
Now, I can imagine helicopters carrying players around the map, exploding helicopters dropping from the air due to rocket collision, warfare vehicles roaming the map, boats patrolling the waters, destruction on an epic scale all over the map.... and hearing all of this beauty on my Surround Sound System 5.1 with the "war tapes" setting on..
Oh yeah, battlefield 3 is going to be epic.
Haha, that's exactly what I did. They should totally put that in an ad or something. Skip the rehash that is cod, and get battlefield 3.
Although I wish they show console footage at e3 2011. I'd get it for the pc, it's just that my laptop just isn't high-end enough.
I've always had a blast with gears campaigns, I just hope the story ends with a satisfying conclusion.
