There's nothing to learn. Just because you dislike it, doesn't mean everyone else does. Millions of people, myself included, still enjoy Final Fantasy. Sorry you lost interest, but we're still excited.
Yup, just make sure you only speak for yourself. I've been playing since the first entry and cannot wait for XV and the 7 remake.
Yup. Pretty obvious they're going the Destiny route as far as content goes. After reading interviews, playing the alpha/beta, etc it's all too similar.
And why wouldn't they? Destiny was crazy successful and made a loooot of money. That's all Ubisoft wants. If they can keep costs down with minimal content but make top returns, they're going to.
I don't want this to be true. I want this game to be packed with content. I really do. And ...
The episodic confusion was not Square's fault. They never said anything about the remake being episodic. These "journalists" sensationalized a quote about the full story being released as multiple games. Then, by either sheer stupidity or click bait, the false episodic issue was born.
Chalk that one up to the fans and fellow "news" sites who simply don't know what they're talking about.
This article is pretty off.
Same thing here. Just played through Bloodborne for a 2nd time and now am back with DK2. Definitely feels weird not having the regain system. Took a bit to get used to again.
^ Except we were being told every once in a while that The Last Guardian was still around. Nothing of the sort with Agent.
Here's the headline for my next article:
"Should we still care about video game journalists who write articles full of false information and lies to spread their personal feelings?"
"The actual game won't be this way."
Hate to say it, but Destiny burned me with this kind of talk.
Destiny's beta was fun but very empty. Everyone said it was because it was the beta. Sadly, that wasn't the truth.
I hope I'm wrong. I really do. But after playing both betas and hearing this "Destiny" type of talk I'm concerned.
^ Couldn't disagree more. I don't watch WD or the read the comics. I think the franchise is boring and unoriginal. I dislike it very much.
The WD telltale game could have been called anything and it would have been amazing. The story is one of the greatest I've ever experienced in a video game.
Has literally nothing to do with the name attached to it and everything to do with how well the story and characters were written.
They "get away with it" because the games are story based. Going from TWAU to WD didn't feel the same at all. Sure, the core mechanics of gameplay are the same. But the story and characters are so different that you get pulled into each world and have completely different experiences.
It's like reading 2 different books. So, they both involve opening a cover and turning pages..."how do they keep getting away with it"...
Because th...
Exactly. Also, I would hope a repetitive, cut content shooter wouldn't ever be considered a company's magnum opus.
The game will be fun, as I enjoyed the beta. But unless they're hiding a bunch of stuff from us, it won't be anything mind blowing.
The problem is, Destiny wasn't a failure financially. The Division would love to make the money that Destiny did. Therefore, there really a mistake on Destiny's part as far as a lack of content or anything.
If Destiny made that much money with small, recycled and cheap content then the division will too.
Which is sadly my greatest concern with the division. It was fun but seemed super repetitive like destiny.
I think it was but just very rushed and cut short.
How? She's an avid Final Fantasy fan. Not to mention, if you think FFXV needs attention brought to it, you're insane. This is easily one of the most hyped games in a long, long time. I mean, they're holding a live event just for the release date announcement which sold out almost right away.
If that's what it smells like to you, maybe get your nose checked?
I think the "journalist" really missed the spot here with something. He was complaining that Epic would be selling card packs. Epic said they will not be selling card packs...
However, the little detail that was missed was that you buy the card packs in game using in game currency. Your concern should be that players can buy in game currency, not buy card packs. Of course, Epic responded saying "you cannot buy card packs" but what should have really been s...
Because he makes games that many people love. Pretty simple.
The game is always online, even when playing single player.
Being that Dark Souls 3 has some more speed to it, the shields may not be as important as they used to be.
In the previous entries, the fighting was a little more defensive. Shields were very important, unless you were a mage or a 2 hand/dual wielder. Since you didn't have a shield as a dual wielder, it was considered the "expert" class because you had to dodge and roll away from attacks instead of blocking them with the shield.
Since I haven...
And here they come....
Definitely going to be similar to Destiny. You can tell by the interviews, leaked info, alpha/beta, etc. It seems quite obvious if you're really paying attention.
Ubisoft watched Bungie make incredibly huge profits and wanted to follow suit. And why wouldn't they? Small amounts of content/cut content for campaign with multiplier providing the longevity.
I hope I'm wrong. I really do. I want The Division to release and surprise me...but I don'...
