List some games that were better than Gears 2, or Mass Effect One.
Halo Odst and Halo 3 looked exactlly the same. Anyone who thinks there 360 hasn't peaked yet is just a fanboy blinded to there 360. See it's easy to say people that don't agree with you are just fanboys...Much harder to actually prove your point though.
It was actually made with dead tech to begin with. Remeber the add on HDdvd player, they did not even have the foresight to add it in the console, or they knew they were supporting the losing media, either way bad. The did not have wifi included they do not have blue tooth connectivity. You have to purchase plug n play adaptors to recharge your controlers, but PS3 controlers are that way right of the bat. The guy who wrote this article says he didn't like ODST, feels that it was just bungie screwing people over, but will be first in line with armor on for the next game...this is the problem with the bots and Halo fans no matter how crappy the game is they never learn.
This was on one retail site, and let's face it there goal was number one so they could stand to sell 30 million more to try and catch the Wii(for some reason). How many xbox fans have bought more than one console? How many people have bought a spare just incase? I Imagine that the actually number of people that play the 360 is less then the actual number of people that play the PS3 considering there sales figs are nearly identical.
I know at least 3 people that have bought multiple ...
The price drop was only in the UK, and only for the Arcade version of the 360...Trying to sell them off and stop putting them on shelves.

This is not a shock, the playstation fan base out numbers the xbox fanbase by a huge margin. what like 25 million xbox's sold and 150 million plus Ps2's sold. Really there are far more people out in the world that are posed to make there upgrade, and I don't see any reason for them to "jump ship"
Really it makes sense for them(bioware and EA). They could bring out the first one this year, and even if only 1 million PS3 owners bought it that is 60 mil on an old game, Then the year after that ME2 could come out and the are basicaly extending the life of there game, and they will still be able to charge the full 60 bucks a year later, not very many games that can still sell for full price after being on shelves that long. So it really makes alot of sense to everyone.
I imagine that they will bring ME one out on PS3 first before ME2, it may be older but the could add some content and improve the graphics a little and then PS3 owners could get the whole experience, really Mass Effect is the only thing that we are missing out on.
If they do this that is, I don' see why not there is money to be had, if only 1 million PS3 fans buy Mass Effect(original) that's what like 60 million bucks on an old game.

What I'm hearing is a bunch of people that already own one buying a spare or replacement, not people that don't have one rushing to get one because of the low price. BTW the newer ones still fail it just is at a 30% rate compared to over 50%, and the 30 is a claim from MS only time will truely tell what the real fail rate is of new 360s.
Natal and the Gem will flop, fail, suck, etc...
Neither company should be doing this, but money is there to be made.
The Gem(sony's wand) will be out in spring time in 2010, I'm pretty sure Natal is not going to be around until Fall 2010 or early 2011.
Really I don't think either of them will be able to take anything away from the Wii(it's been motion control from the begining)

If it were not for people rebuying 360's after being banned or getting the RRoD then there sales numbers would not be as high as they are. Plus PS3 and 360 are very close in sales, and the 360 was out for over a year longer than the PS3. So even with a year lead and rebuys from a ton of people MS still isn't firmly ahead of Sony, and are in danger of falling behind them.
And really the PS3 was the only "next gen" console to use "next gen" tech...360 used older har...
Plus it was not clear weather blu-ray or HDdvd would win, Remeber there was actually a second choice when the PS3 came out, and blu-ray movies cost like 35 dollars a piece. Now that more people have HDTV's and blu-rays are coming down to be reasonable priced then you'll see more people getting onboard with the PS3...Not only is it the greatest gaming machine, it is one of the industires best blu-ray players.

360's don't sell well in Japan...I think last week of novemeber they only sold 4800 360's in Japan... 4400 pspgo's sold the same week.
Glitches are Glitches and seeing as IW most likely rushed the production of this game(very short turn around from when we first started hearing about until it was onshelves) and hence has glitches. As long as they can fix them it's not that big a deal. There do seem to be more glitches on the 360 then the PS3.
It's Japan what did you expect...The Wii is like there child they gotta take care of it.
I guess hope springs eternal, but PS3 will be ahead of the 360 in no time, and that's saying something considering the 360 was out on shelves for over a year before PS3 came out...so with a year less of sales the PS3 and 360 are basically tied right now.
Not really sure were there gettin this info from, by most accounts 360 sales in europe are way down, and since there is a huge audience across the pond for GT then I would wager more people are getting a PS3 with GT5 right around the bend. And 360 sales in Japan are barely above the pspgo...xbots get ready for last place because sony is practicle ahead of you now and the 360 had over a year long lead on the shelves.
Two if your lucky...But if they keep supporting the 360 after they come out with a new one then you are right 4 to 6, but since microsoft did not support the xbox after the 360 launched it makes sense they won't support the 360 when the new comes out.
Remeber when the 360 came out Microsoft had a 5 year plan, and guess what 2010 is it's five years.
