This is the same with psn cards you can buy a 20 dollar card of a 50 dollar card but if you only want 10 bucks your kind of screwed. I don't really find this to be a problem because the extra cash just sits there until I need it. I imagine its the same with the MS points the ones you don't use will stay in your account until spent, so it's not really a rip off... It's not like you buy a 500 point card use 400 and then lose the extra 100. I never did understand why they didn't just use doll...
Lair was so terrible after playing it for an hour, I went into a coma didn't wake up for 6 weeks.
The screen shots look very similar so good job 2k. There are many things that would make the same game different on the 2 systems. Framerate, loadtimes, and how well multiplayer runs, I don't like people comparing games based only on the still shots it is not the full story. Both systems should be able to run this game in the same manor and it looks like everyone will get to enjoy another great game. Bioshock one was terrific and 2 looks like they managed to at least meet that standard. ...
If you really look at the shots then up close the PS3 version looks better, the stuff in the distance looks better on the 360.
Just look at the gun, the PS3 version has loads of detail, the 360 version looks black, but if you look out into the distance then the city looks crisper on the 360, and the PS3 version looks a little foggy. Of course it will, that's not saying that they won't come out with something else by year seven, but that being said they still support ps2 so why would they stop support for the ps3. Besides that they just keep improving the quaility of the system so ten years will be easy for them. Plus there really isn't technology out there currently that would vastly improve gaming so why come out with something else, the PS3 is the top of the tech food chain... With how many rebuys of 360's MS has had I Imagine the number of poeple playing the systems are the same, heck PS3 may even have the lead in that catagory... Think about it how many 360's has the average xbox fan purchased. Most the people I know that have one are on there second one at least. I myself had two, first one RRoD, I traded the second one away before it had the chance to do so. And not having the 360 for awhile I did not miss out on anything, until Mass Effect 2 and SplinterC...
It does not matter how well the 360 sold it matters where they are going. Right now and for a long time now the PS3 has out sold the 360 month over month, and really MS isn't gaining any new consumers they are getting a lot of rebuys. It says they shipped that many units not sold that many units. Besides how many people have purchased 2 or more 360's... answer honestly. I myself had two, but will not get another one.
IMO the number of people playing the PS3 and the 360 is the same or so close it does not really matter.

The xbox sales in north america are good, but in the rest of the world they are not. In Japan the pspgo usually out sells the 360 week to week, and in europe more and more people are getting PS3's with GT5 coming out soon a huge game in most european countries.
Total sales for 360 are around 38 to 39 mil according to MS, the PS3 is at 32 to 33 mil with around 8 to 9 million rebuys of 360's that is actually less people playing the 360 then the PS3. and only being 6 to 7 million units ...

On how powerful of a pc are we talking here, If it is going to cost a few hundread dollars to upgrade to play Crysis 2 then it won't be worth it, and it really remains to be seen what the final build of the game will bring, or how much content there will be. Uncharted 2 looked that amazing and had a pretty long single player, plus different multiplayer games. If crysis 2 is really short, and has limited multiplayer options then looking better really doesn't seem that great.
