devkits aren't built using off the shelf parts, they usually have a custom mobo much larger than final for testing.
they likely do have access to unified system memory,and all of the component parts.
why even call them devkits, hey could just give the developer some specs and manufacturers and have them build their own, that is horsecrap anyone who thinks devkits are off the shelf parts are fulla spatooey.

Ok Arai, They said the same thing about the UE3 on the ps3 demo they showed in 05. it was "unoptimized"
when the game came out it looked like shit compared to the demo they showed at e3.
optimized means quality chopped, either mathematically or straight out. optimized means compromised precision for different algorithms that run faster and get a "similar" Result.

only thing changes this late in the game is cpu speed and ram? what other specs are you talking about?
those seem like the most important to consolers to me.
i feel that the shot with the hillside down to the valley with buildings in it is a mixture of ingame with concept. but i may be wrong.

like 200 guns, then there are attachments and upgrades for every gun then there are vehicle upgrades, and the x-bow(overrated?)

I just finished a playthrough this on ma pay cee and I think this is one of the better looking games ever made letalone better than uncharted. but i think that might be highly conditional. cause this game seems to shine in certain lighting conditions and almost fail in others

it may or may not be. at this point i am just wanting some halflife 3 thats it. if they cant handle making a game that everyone has been demanding for years what makes them think that they can handle a hardware market.
