the ps4 managed to fit all that and the psu and more horsepower in a small compact form factor, I am really interested in why it is so big?

They should just launch it next year holiday, drop the useless camera install a microphone for the voice controls make camera optional and with the money they saved drop in an extra 7770 amd has the tech to crossfire those new chips in less than a year.
and then they would finally be able to justify that thing being as big as a spare tire, and more expensive.

crisis 3 is quite literally the most demanding game released in years, well maybe metro LL but they look fantastic when up at full settings, In my opinion full settings is worth every penny but to call that "on a budget" either ends with 17-28fps or not a budget at all.

I do believe that this is game looks. one of the benefits of the new dx11 tech coming to consoles is the ability to use seamless lod's for entities allowing this to be "actually" what is ingame and completely seamlessly scaled depending on distance to camera and pixel residency.
Or in other words no matter where it is it should be possible to keep the detail as needed to fill the pixels that the object or in this case face is resident.

with facial mocap and in realtime things get tricky but im sure it can improve. If not by release then later in the console cycle with the inevitable sequel that will come from this sleeper.

yes. my daughters pc is connected to a 120 inch screen and it is entirely controlled by the xbox 360 controller.
It has all of their movies, all of their music, all of their games (snes,genesis,master syetem, n64,dreamcast,psx,ps2, gamecube, wii, and of course bout 30 PC games ranging from mw3 to crisis 2. its got a blu ray drive wifi N and a wireless 360 receiver all in a small compact package. about the size of a 360 original.

This is like the worst level to show off, I know its the only one we know of but still. come on. most people wont know that that is dust from a building, it looks really bland in all the mp teasers ive been seeing.
I dunno I loved the sp gameplay that shit looked nuckinfuts but the mp so far for me has looked like more and more of the grey.
I love bf mp but damn they are showing a level so ugly only a mother could love it.. haha
