Gamepass is actually going to cause me to buy more ps5 games. I probably wasn’t going to spend $70 on returnal, because I’m unsure about the rougelike elements. But since the show is now free, I can take a risk at $70 and get returnal.

That’s technically not true. Xbox announced the acquisition in E3 2018 and the game didn’t come out until fall 2019.
