A couple things Right off the bat this author got wrong. Microsoft never confirmed a two hour conference. Last two years they have blocked off 2 hr windows. The conference never runs that full frame. It just means it’s above 1:30.
Second, Rod Ferguson later has said in interviews, that there was never intent to show the campaign at the briefing, so it wasn’t cut.

Remedy and team ninja are possibilities, but I’d bet on them acquiring smaller studios because they already have the AAA narrative games down.

Insomniac definitely won’t happen. They’ve stated before that they love being independent.

The thing that worries me is when he says they are interested in the “Asian market and the mobile market”. Combine this with working with netease and it can be worrisome.
