Sony is still the king of single player games, but with superb co-op with horde/escape/campaign, excellent versus and a great campaign, they have an argument.
I wasn’t talking about sales. PS3 had a disastrous launch, inferior multiplats and only had better exclusives the final two years of its lifecycle. 360 was the preferred platform and the best place to play.
What I don’t understand is why people in here are all distraught about them. They don’t impact gameplay at all. Uncharted and last of us both had them.
Understand this. Games are very cheap nowadays compared to the late 90s around the N64 launch when I paid $70 for a game. That’s over $100 in today’s money. Imagine paying $100 for every game.

The best thing that happened to Sony fans was Microsoft buying all those studios, because it promoted Sony to not sit on their laurels for next gen. Props to Sony for applying the pressure.
This likely won’t be the last acquisition Sony makes, but most likely the largest.
