The partnership is more about a gateway to xcloud. They want to push that to as many people as possible. They wanted mixer to be that, but it failed to gain traction.
This was more about xcloud than anything
Halo infinite is confirmed to be natively built on series X. I know that might hurt your narrative, but it’s fact.

That was really the only option. Couldn’t have gone to YouTube because stadia would conflict with xcloud plans. Couldn’t go with twitch because amazon will be releasing their own answer to the streaming Wars.
The only other option was to not partner with anyone. If they did that, they’d be leaving their streamers high and dry. At least with Facebook they are offering partner status to those who had it in mixer and sign on bonuses
The question was about Sony. Maybe pay attention next time
Deathloop, ghostwire, and project athia are not indie titles.
Microsoft timed exclusives=bad
Sony timed exclusive=good
Hypocrisy at its finest
The money they paid ninja was pocket change for a 1.3 trillion dollar company
Pretty convenient if you to leave off ori on your list. But then again, N4g seems to have a selective memory when it comes to Xbox titles
It’s up there with god of war and gears with the best looking games of this gen no doubt
You should play god of war because the single shot was one of the most incredible things about the game.
It doesn’t impact gameplay at all. The only thing it impacts is that you won’t get CG cutscenes
Sony doesn’t want a repeat of the PS3 gen though
I was going to hold off on the ps5 until one of their banger first party titles would be released............then they revealed miles Morales and I have to get one at launch now.
Sony was smart to get something out the door at launch to compete with Halo
Obsidian has 3 teams working on games. A new IP RPG, outer worlds 2, and this small group working on grounded
I wonder if they are just going to drop it randomly on a Tuesday, or if Microsoft got the marketing rights and will show it in July.
And you’d always be able to play it on PC
The series S will have an SSD
That’s how PC works bud. These consoles are PCs
A few of the games Microsoft showcased in the May event were next gen only too. They obviously don’t care. Their first party games are only going to be cross for a year or two
This is great and all, but are they going to raise the minimum specs on PC to require an ssd?
It’s weird that it’s bigger than the series X given the power difference, but if it’s more quiet than my pro, It’s not a big deal
Definitely the most gut wrenching, harrowing, and even scariest game I’ve played. I get why people are angry, but it’s one of the most polished and emotional games I’ve ever played. It’s incredible
