No one is arguing the Xbox hasn’t had droughts. Every console has had them. Switch’s 2020 isn’t looking good.
Just make a great game. Perfect dark reboot would feel like a new IP anyway.

As someone who prefers the Xbox controller, I’m looking forward to the dual sense. Lots of innovation with the resistive triggers and what seems to be a more ergonomic controller.
It’s better than the first game in every way. Combat is significantly improved, it’s gorgeous and the story is there too
Don’t know why you bring up Xbox. They’ve released a banger in ori and have plenty XGS games coming this year.
It’s more immersive that it’s implemented into the gameplay rather than a compass or in your hud. It’s not a big thing, but it’s different

As with all open world RPGs, it all comes down to the story and side quests. If they nail that, it will be great.
Not every open world rpg needs to reinvent the wheel. AC Odyssey was great, even though it just built upon origins. The little things they have done with the waypoints and the interacting with the nature are interesting innovations even if they are small things.
2 1/2 years from announce to release isn’t that long.
